I usually try not to cover franchise or chain restaurants in my reviews. However, this place is an exception and genuinely holds a special place in my heart. I’ve always loved their concept since my high school years, and this location keeps that nostalgia alive in the best way…
The cafe sits in where I think is the nicest part of Palma’s centre, the elegant and vibrant Paseo Marítimo… The staff are always friendly and the space itself feels like a mini-museum, with original pieces from famous rockstars displayed throughout.
In terms of drinks, the quality standard is exactly what you would expect from the Hard Rock name. Electric Blue has been my go-to cocktail for almost a decade. It’s strong, fun and packed with enough voltage to keep the night interesting 🙂 If you prefer something non-alcoholic, the Mango-Berry Cooler is refreshing without being overly sweet. For coffee lovers, they use beans from Arabay Coffee, it’s local roastery known for its bright, slightly acidic but high-quality profiles.
One thing I especially appreciate is the atmosphere: both outside and inside are spacious, never overwhelmingly crowded and often calm. I’ve even come here just to sit and work.
If you’re lucky, you can also catch live music on Saturday nights, just make sure to call ahead and reserve a table.
All in all, it’s a great option in the centre of Palma. Honestly, you can never really go wrong with a Hard Rock anywhere and this one certainly lives up to the name…

We visited Hard Rock Cafe in Magaluf for a hen party and had such a brilliant time! We booked the cocktail-making class with Chris, and he honestly made the whole experience. His energy was amazing – really bubbly, fun, and so welcoming. He kept us laughing the whole way through, and the cocktails were delicious too.
Chris’s service was a 10/10 and he made the day feel really special for our group. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something fun to do in Magaluf – thanks again, Chris and the Hard Rock team

Had to wait an hour for a burger watching everyone else eat around me. Eventually an employee came to check on me and had no idea I was waiting for food. Within 5 mins the manager came over with my burger and an apology. He said he could see my order in the system but he doesn’t know how it was missed. This is all fine and happens, but then the original waiter brought over the bill, told me he never put it through the system, then asked “Seriosuly, did you even order a burger in the first place?”
Are you kidding? You’re going to make me wait an hour for my food, tell me its in the system, then say you never put it through, don’t offer me a discount and THEN accuse me of lying? I couldn’t believe it. What even kind of customer interaction is this supposed to be? Its a huge letdown to be told 2 contradicting excuses when all I wanted was an innocent explanation. It shows either they don’t know whats going on, they lied or they don’t care.
I came in for some lunch and nostalgia and left bitterly disappointed. What’s sad is these problems could be fixed immediately with just a little professionalism and empathy.

We stopped by the Hard Rock Café Palma during our cruise and had only a short time before boarding again. The staff were super friendly and made sure everything came out quickly. We ordered cocktails and the Hot Fudge Brownie dessert — both were delicious!

I’ve visited about 20 different Hard Rock Cafes, but for me this one is the best I’ve ever been to. Atmosphere, music, food, service, everything is just right.

I’ve always enjoyed my visits to Hard Rock Cafes, and this one had the same engaging and enjoyable vibe I’ve come to expect. However, for some reason, the food didn’t quite hit the mark this time—it felt a bit off compared to other HRCs I’ve experienced. Everything else, from the atmosphere to the service, was great as usual.

Food was good although they didn’t have the item I wanted upon ordering but my alternative was just as good as I got the buffalo sauce. Not as busy as other hard rocks which was nice. Lovely outdoor area but very windy we had to come indoors. Service was quick and staff were attentive. Fun Photo Booth by the bathrooms!

It just seems dated. The staff are lovely and friendly but the decoris the same as they all are, its no wonder they are shutting all around the world. It needs modernising, its so 80’s MTV. The menu needs a revamp, its 2025. It’s in a good spot so they should profit but its stuck in the past. When we were there the only good song played was by audioslave from 2001. Expensive merchandise, nearly 40€ for a t-shirt, come on!!!
