I visited on Feb 5th, and it was a total nightmare. This place is run by scammers who specifically target tourists.
1. Financial Fraud (Theft): I paid $89.27 by card. When I asked about the tip, the server gave no explanation and just stared at me. I handed her $7 in CASH, which she took. Later, I discovered they charged an additional 20% ($17.85) to my card WITHOUT my consent. They never gave me a receipt, clearly trying to hide this double-dipping. They stole my money.
2. Deceptive & Rude Service: Not only did they steal, but they also treated me like trash. The food took forever to come out. When I was leaving after giving the cash tip, the server gave me a “stinging look” (glare) as if it wasn’t enough and practically kicked me out. She was incredibly unprofessional and hostile.
3. The Food is a Joke: The pizza was hard as a rock—completely inedible. To be honest, the frozen pizza I bought at Walmart tasted 100 times better than this garbage.
4. Fake Happy Hour: Their “Happy Hour” is a trap. Most beer prices are exactly the same as the regular menu. They are blatantly lying to customers to lure them in.
DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE. They will make you wait forever for terrible food, lie about their prices, and then literally steal money from your credit card because you’re a tourist. I have already filed a fraud report with my bank.
Harbor Pub is a solid find in Waikiki. The pizza was delicious — great crust, generous toppings, and clearly made with care. Paired with a cold beer, it hit the spot perfectly. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a day on the beach or just want a satisfying, no-fuss meal, this place delivers. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!
Our waitress was quite nice. Polite.
Place is really easy to find and get to (currently just beware of a lot of construction around and above their entrance).
Only downside was not their fault: folks at the table next to us had really loud voices, making it difficult for us to hear ourselves. But they I assume was a one-off.
We’ll most likely be returning here again for breakfast.
