As someone who grew ip coming here, Tonight the food was the worst food that I have had ever in my life. We tried the Claim Cowder and it was grainy and seem to have been sitting in a hot pot way to long. We then tried the Tuna Melt and am sorry even after pointing it out to the server it was disgusting and burnt within one bite you knew it was completely garbage and should never have been served. I didn’t ask the server to remove it from the bill nor was it offer. The server was great the food she had to serve was the issue. The moment we walked in and seen one couple at a booth and two men at the counter the rest of the resturant empty I should have known the place had gone down hill. I believe the Manager should be in charge and make sure to see the cooks as quality control is lacking as this place use to be a good place for comfort food. I am now heading out looking for food to get the taste out of my mouth. Sadly after dozens of years coming here we are most likely not going to return.

Our favorite place for comfort food! From the eggs to the spaghetti, you can’t go wrong with Harbor House Cafe. The portion sizes are huge(just look at that ham steak) and the menu is plentiful. The staff is very friendly, but they can be understaffed at times. Try the tuna melt the next time you’re in the area

Classic coastal eatery. Good menu, one of a kind ambiance with old movie posters and photos. Good prices and food. Portion size has decreased a little in the last few years. Still is great value!

No air conditioning on day I visited. Just not enough air circulating to keep it comfortable. I had the scrambled eggs with veggies, English muffin, fruit & coffee. It wasn’t as good in comparison to same at RJ’s which I’d rate much better in taste & prep. Costs are near enough. Harbor House has an interesting wall & ceiling decor of historical movie posters, celebrity photos & coastal locations. I did see staff wrapping silverware in napkins handling the wares by the mouth ends. Not my idea of sanitary.

The burgers, fries, and onion rings are good.
The chicken fajitas weren’t great. The chicken was cooked well, which deserves mention, but there was too much sauce all over the meat and vegetables. I also don’t know why they include tomatoes with the other vegetables. The rice and beans were pretty bland. And there were only 2 tortillas.

Their shakes are great. Thick and creamy.

Ordered egg ham omelet for breakfast, came with fruit and a piece of bread. My order came in 2 minutes, so fast but the omelet egg tasted not fresh and the fruit not fresh. Food was served too fast that it tasted bad. I just had a taste and asked for my check and complained to server.
