Three cheers for Harbor & Hen! Our food was ready fast and served hot and fresh. The coating on the generous fish portions is tasteful and crisp without being oily. The fish texture is flaky and firm. We love the tartar sauce served on the side. The “Chips” are potato wedges served soft inside but crisp outside. We shared one order of fish and chips. Such an excellent addition to the Bite in Tumalo!

Harbour & Hen is an absolute home run for Tumalo. I wandered over to The Bite, our local food truck hub, and ended up having one of the best meals I’ve had in years — no exaggeration. The whole atmosphere at The Bite is always great, and the owners there deserve serious credit for creating such a welcoming, community-driven spot. It’s the perfect backdrop for a food cart as good as this one.
I ordered the Buffalo wings with the chipotle-lime sauce, and I’m not kidding when I say they’re the best wings of my life. Perfectly crispy, perfectly seasoned, and that sauce… whoever came up with it deserves a medal. Then I went for the fish and chips, and somehow they were even better. The fish is flaky, the batter is impossibly crisp, and it’s done with real care — the kind of care you only get when people take pride in what they’re serving.
Speaking of pride, Hudson, the manager, is phenomenal. This guy runs the place like a pro — friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every customer leaves happy. You can feel his leadership in the details: fast service, great recommendations, and food coming out exactly right.
Tumalo has plenty of solid food options, but Harbour & Hen at The Bite raises the bar in a big way. Incredible food, great people, and a location that has become one of the best community spots around.
If you’re anywhere near Tumalo, stop by. This is a five-star experience from top to bottom!
