Nautical and whimsical with throwback decor, very local beach town vibes. Good music too, I was jamming to the tunes and the food. It’s a great option for a hearty meal at Oceanside harbor, but you’ll definitely need to walk it off after. Fast/friendly service. Got their Friday special—coleslaw was flavorful and crunchy, clam shower was creamy and fresh. The fish & chips platter was of course a delicious namesake—the fried shrimp and fish were both crispy and tender, and didn’t feel too oily. Great price for the amount of food and the quality. Don’t forget the condiments corner—a squeeze of lemon juice and some tartar sauce really ties the meal together. Some of the seats are a bit sandy, and parking at the harbor can be hard to find, but it’s more than worth the visit. Check it out if you can!

Back in June I visited Harbor fish & chips for the first time. I had really been craving fish and chips but my go to spot is all the way im Ventura, Ca. So I was in the Oceanside, Ca. area and decided to give them a try. We ordered the sampler platter which included a variety of items. The food was okay but not good, spectacular or awsom so unfortunately it was a bust. I drive a three hour round trip to Ventura for fish and chips at Andria’s seafood. Ive been aking the trip for over 30 years!!

This was by far the best fish and chips I have ever had. This place may like questionable but it is amazing and the staff was very kind and quick with the order. They have picnic tables outside right on the harbor so had some great views. Also, forgot to take a picture of the fish and chips but here’s the empty plate to prove it

Drove a few hours to sit by the ocean and enjoy fish and chips. So worth the drive the fish was so delicious and perfectly crunchy. The fries had a fabulous flavor and perfect texture. Called ahead and the order was ready when I walked in. Very friendly service.

One of the best fish tacos I have had. Nice crunch and huge pieces. Service was great and can tell they appreciate their customers. Every time I go down I will make sure to stop here. Next time I want to try the coleslaw on top. I really dont like coleslaw but this one was legit.

I am very picky about fish and chips. One thing I hate is if you taste the oil. While they are a little oily, the flavor is clean so they obviously clean their fryer frequently. The batter on the fish just crunches and is light and airy. Also I can’t stand fishy tasting fish. But here the fish is clean and fresh without any fishy after taste. The fish itself gently flakes to perfection while still being moist. It can get a bit busy there leaving it difficult to find seating and the wait may increase during busier times, but the food is definitely worth the wait.
