My husband and I had been driving past this place for awhile and decided to give the a try. We ordered a medium sausage pepperoni pizza, rib tips and fries. The pizza was alright, better than most, but alright. I could have used a little more sauce (I like saucy pizza). The rib tips were ok, we were hoping to have a smokey taste, I don’t think they were on the grill. They had a good amount of meat, the BBQ was ok, a little runny but not bad. The fries were great, hot and crispy. I also ordered the cheesecake, I was disappointed because it didn’t have the gram cracker crust. All in all, the experience was just alright.

Atmosphere has one four top table and one bench to sit at. If that is important, this might not be the place. 100% of my orders are walk in orders. In seven years of visits, I have not been disappointed in my menu choices at different times of the day. Cashiers have pleasant, even with multiple people in line, and on the phone.

The Cheese pizza is good but the place is not clean. I just called letting them know my child got food poisoning. I let him know it’s cross-contamination going on and the place is not clean. I won’t be ordering here again.

Pizza was overcooked and excessively oily. Chicken was acceptably prepared, but not exceptional enough to warrant repeat business. Undercooked cookie. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Ribs are essentially bones with no meat. That’s like selling pizza that is just bread with no cheese. Not even sure it’s legal. Would give zero stars if it was an option.

I want to give it higher. Contrary to belief, they do NOT serve fried chicken wings. They are baked. Though, they charge high price for them. I won’t do that again. Their subs aren’t to bad. 4 people for 74 bucks. Better to go to a big restaurant chain, and spend less for more. Service was really good though.

If you are tired of the typical Central Ohio thin cracker crust, bland sauce and inconsistently cooked pizza then Happy’s is the answer for you.
Our family has enjoyed Happy’s food for many years and we gladly drive the extra hour just to get to their Whitehall location.
Pizza: fresh, soft crust (add garlic and parm flavoring). Their sauce is just a little sweet and perfect. Toppings are great especially if you like Italian sausage.
Wings: without a doubt they have the best wings we’ve ever had. They’re wings are pricier than most places but well worth it. Use the drive-thru pickup window if you don’t want to get out of your car.
Keep up the great work Happy’s.
Please consider re-opening a location on the West Side. The population has grown and we need better pizza options! We’ll support you.
