We ordered the Captain Set, grilled fish, and fried oysters—everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The seafood was cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. Best of all, there was no wait and we were seated right away. The cozy, coastal-inspired decor and friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a satisfying seafood meal in Tyler!

Great place for fish we have ate at several places in Tyler and this is the best. Good service food was great only thing is it is a bit expensive, cut the meals a bit and charge a bit less and we could eat there 2 times a week

Happy Fish House -So dang good. We started with the boudin and the crab balls, and both were super yummy—the kind of appetizers that disappear way too fast.
I got the fried shrimp basket with grits and whew… those grits were cheesy and on point. Comfort food perfection. Huge portions too—like “you’re definitely taking some home unless you’re a competitive eater” huge.
Our waitress was quick, friendly, and kept our drinks full the whole time, which is always a win in my book.
I’d absolutely come back. Great food, great service, and serious bang for your buck.

Great food, we had gumbo, oyster poboys, shrimp and grits, shrimp basket and catfish basket. We’re from Louisiana can be hard to please when eating Cajun food so we were happy to find Happy Fish House while in Tyler. Definitely recommend. Also noticed some of the amazing breakfast dishes being served.

Not from Tyler but surprised some locals that this place serves breakfast. I ordered the chorizo scramble….wonderful! I can’t remember what everyone else ordered in my group…6 of us but there were no complaints and a lot of clean plates. Our waitress was Amanda. She was very nice and kept the coffee and tea coming. We will be back in November!

The food was perfect. The fish batter was light & fluffy. The meat was fully cooked and moist. The shrimp were huge! Kelly was an awesome server, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My drink was great. The only complaint we had was that it was COLD in there! It was still really clean, relaxed, and upbeat.

To be honest I dont.like seafood but went here with family and I was able to eat the chicken fried steak
Their bring out a huuuuuge chicken fried steak this damn thing was hanging off the plate. The gravy? The gravy tasted so good I had some steamed veggies my waitress had it down to a science pretty sure she’s a psychic some.of you other waitresses out here should go there with a open mind and let them show you how to get a 25% tip
Now let me tell ya about the decor
