My chicken lo mein was bland which was disappointing, the fried wontons and egg rolls were really good though. My husband said his General Tso chicken was good. The service is great.

We have eaten here a lot over the past year and a half, most of the time it’s pretty good but lately it’s been slacking. Food just isn’t tasting that fresh, I don’t know if they are preparing frequently ordered food ahead of time and it’s just sitting there or what but that’s what it’s starting to taste like. I’m hoping this is a fluke and it will improve. They don’t skimp on the chicken fried rice, just wish it tasted a little more fresh. We also ordered the rangoons which definitely tasted older and pork egg rolls.

So disappointed with our last 2 visits. 1st, last week their website said they were opened until 9pm, we arrived at 8:30 and were turned away, went to Jardines instead. Tonight we went for dinner with a group of 5. We ordered 3 appetizers and 5 entrees. Within 5 minutes we got 2 appetizers and one entree. About 10 minutes later we got 2 more entrees, both were wrong and had to be sent back, 5 more minutes another entree, this one was cold, 5 more minutes another entree, this one was correct. About 10 minutes later after my son was done eating we got his appetizer, 10 more minutes my wife got her replacement entree, still wrong. The waitress said she would get it corrected but to go, as we had been sitting there forever and everyone was already done. Sad to say this will be our last visit. None of the tables were cleaned (5-6 tables), restaurant was filthy and there were other patrons that were upset about their service as well. 2 gentlemen near us got up and walked out after 1 was served and the other waited over 30+ minutes for his meal. Will not be going back, ever.

What I ate was not on the choices so here goes. I had the beef and broccoli with steamed rice and eggroll and wonton soup and it was delicious. I’ve always had the broccoli and the chicken but I find the chicken sometimes is a little dry so today I switched it off to beef and it was delicious and juicy.

You will wok out happy! The service is great! They will prepare your meal to the heat or spicy level you prefer. Substitutions? No problem. A wide selection of menu choices and specials too. Be sure to check the chalk boards for great daily deals. Take out available of course. What a fab little gem for Liberty Hill folks and travelers too.

I’m giving 1 star because 7 out of 10 times the order is wrong. Now, 5 stars for the food quality. We always order online, but why can’t they follow the instructions? It’s really getting old when you get home and the order is wrong. I wanted no onions, and I get onions once again.
