Lo mein I paid 3 dollars for was soured and smelled of chemicals. After moving the noodles around we found that the styrofoam container was charred and melted. The noodles were covering it so they did not care enough for us as customer to re plate . We ordered fried rice but got white rice that stunk like feet and was dry. The general tso and orange chicken tasted the exact same . There were very few pieces of veg but they put a ton of nasty tart orange peels. That was the only orange flavor to dish. Egg rolls were burnt. Menu on toast was very misleading. 2 tablespoons of sweet n sour sauce for 8 egg rolls and 8 crab Rangoon. Wife is now dealing with gastrointestinal issues. Fun. Never again. Unhappy Wok.

Should rename it to Un-Happy Wok.
This place is the absolute worst! Save your money go to Panda Express! Or even just get a bag of the H-E-B prepackaged Chinese meals!
The chicken is dry and unflavored. Almost like you are eating a dehydrated piece of chicken breast and give you almost zero sauce for a full dinner portion entre.
But the icing on the cake is The customer service or lack their of. It’s horrible, they forget items in your order and then make you out to be a liar for calling them and asking for them. They say their “packer” put it in there. Well if they did why am I on the phone with you. The three girls who are behind the little desk when you step in really should be trained on the fact you are in a hospitality business. Not my fault you took my money and didn’t give me what I had paid for, and now I’m the bad guy for asking for the items.
Why would a cusomter bother calling you if they had gotten the food I paid for, I get liberty hill isn’t filled with the most Asian restaurants/options around.
But do yourself a favor drive to Leander or uber one from there. All of the ones there are bigger dinner potions, much better quality, and don’t give you an attidrude for their mistake.
Never again will we order from this spot!
The owner should do themselves a favor and retrain your staff they have no customer service skills they call your patrons liars, and then back track when you show up to have your order fixed, and then blatantly lie when you come into the store to have it resolved.
So sorry as a customer I want the items I paid you for and then be treated like it’s and inconvenience and and inconvenience for you all to do your jobs.
Easily fixed by saying hey, we made a mistake and just resolving the issues.
Trust me the food isn’t definitely not very good especially not to have your staff treat your paying customers that way! Definitely will never be back!

Me and my family Have been eating here since they opened even at their old location many years. You can’t beat the Chinese food for such a little town in Texas. Tonight they definitely outshined with Service. We always order a very large order for our big family and it’s always delicious and keeps us happy for many days. Tonight I was a real jerk to the girl at front who was answering the phone. I placed a big order ahead of time when I called and they said it was already ready. There were some ordering glitch to wear it put the order to be ready at eastern time. When they said they would make it as fresh as possible for me, but it was ordered to be picked up at 5:30. I kind of flipped a little bit on her. She handled it outstanding. She apologized, admitted fault, and insisted they would remake the order for me and it wasn’t a little order. I really appreciate the service from them and I’m definitely gonna take care of her for my behavior when I get there.

It’s ok.
Vermicelli beef is ok. I guess I’d order that again.
Nothing remarkable, i guess they’ll do ok until they get some competition.

Pad thai needed more sauce, pretty bland. Not spicy, did come with chili sauce. Tofu was alright.
Shrimp spring rolls are pretty bland, just noodles and some iceberg, but the peanut sauce is ok.

Been eating here for about 10 years off and on. Food is good and staff are always nice.
They’re getting very bold with their pricing. They’ve increased it to an amount that is not worth for the food. 39 dollars for a wanton soup, yellow curry and a kids meal. Paid extra for broccoli and they added a SINGLE PIECE.
I like the food a lot and I love the staff, but I’m not coming back anymore. They’ve gotten pretentious with their pricing.

First timer here on an early Sunday. Tried the house shrimp rolls that were extra crispy (which I like). The Pho Tom was delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try more items.

Dined in earlier in the week with my son. He said “eww Mom that girl is smoking!” I turned around and sure enough one of the young girls working in the dining area was vaping! So disgusting and wrong. I should really contact the health department. I actually emailed the email address on Happy Wok’s website first before blasting them on Google reviews to give them a chance to look into it. I received no reply so now everyone can know!

I ordered the general Tso chicken with fried rice and upgraded to get a soup and egg roll with it. The food gets delivered and it’s missing both fried rice and egg roll that I paid extra for and I was left with literally half my lunch and a expensive receipt. Who eats just chicken with no rice? Also, the chicken was super COLD!!! It really ruined my day and I called and was told if I wanted my items I have to come get them myself. The delivery service was no better and I basically got shafted in every direction. Do better. Will not be ordering from them again. Thanks for nothing.

We have eaten here a lot over the past year and a half, most of the time it’s pretty good but lately it’s been slacking. Food just isn’t tasting that fresh, I don’t know if they are preparing frequently ordered food ahead of time and it’s just sitting there or what but that’s what it’s starting to taste like. I’m hoping this is a fluke and it will improve. They don’t skimp on the chicken fried rice, just wish it tasted a little more fresh. We also ordered the rangoons which definitely tasted older and pork egg rolls.

My chicken lo mein was bland which was disappointing, the fried wontons and egg rolls were really good though. My husband said his General Tso chicken was good. The service is great.
