This was our first time trying this restaurant. The atmosphere is somewhat like a sports bar. There’s a lot of sports memorabilia on the walls and numerous tv’s with sports playing. The service was fine, but nothing spectacular. I got the ravioli with white sauce, which I loved. My husband got the chicken parm, which he said was just okay. Their menu has a fairly large selection from fish, chicken, pasta, steak burgers, soups and salads. I would go back. It’s worth a try!

Great first experience and will definitely be back to try more! This place is crisp and clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. So much room for larger parties as well. The food is also lightly decorated for presentation. Portions are generous and service was super! Grilled Chicken Salad was very tasty and the stickies with ice cream from the Creamery…yummy!

We had really high hopes. We went in with a really good vibe. First, it’s confusing when you walk in because there’s like an ice cream shop or something, but easy enough we asked where we should go and the hostess was super cool! Loved her! She asked where we’d like to sit, high top, table, bar or dining room. So far so good. Seated at the table for a little bit, when a male server comes over “I don’t know what happened to your server” and he then takes our drink order and appetizer order, all while proceeding to tell us that he’s ping ponging around because he just got triple sat. Fast forward to our ACTUALY server (guess she somehow found us), brings us our drinks and says she knows our appetizer was put in and that she will be back in a few minutes then. We told her we were ready to order, (ya know while she had only JUST found us we had been there a hot minute). We ordered two meals. But we wanted to share. Again, high hopes. And we are still in a good mood, I’m so excited to try the pear pasta and the lobster and filet mignon. Little disappointed in the very limited side options, but hey, my husband loves French fries, he can have them. Meals came with salads. They came out very quickly. They are very small, which I didn’t mind, what I did mind is that they were served on those really small plates and not in a salad bowl. It went all over the table due to the type of lettuce used. No big deal right? We came here for the main course. Still high hopes. Out comes the mushrooms. I didn’t care for them. But my husband loved them. Said they reminded him of mini pizzas. Super hot though when they first came out, if you order, let them cool a minute. Then came the main course. Nothing special about the steak fries, looked like any other steak fry. The zucchini was a bit mushy for my liking and lacked salt. The pear pasta was good, we chose Alfredo. The $98 filet and lobster was garbage. I cannot stand old bay. It’s repulsive. It’s on the lobster. And there was no butter. Nowhere on the menu does it say they are using old bay. No steak knife provided for the filet, so using my butter knife drained all the juices out of the steak. It lacked seasoning. Was not at all impressed. Not one time did our server ask how things were. She came by and asked if we needed boxes when she realized we weren’t eating the food. Yup one box. I boxed it up and went to the check out area to get my check. We were hungry and wanted to leave so we could get something to eat elsewhere. After leaving we realized we should address our service concerns PRIVATELY with management, even though no one seemed to give a dam while we were there. But there is NO PHONE NUMBER ANYWHERE.

Prior to tonight’s visit, I would’ve given 3.5 stars b/c they had just opened and were still working out the kinks. Tonight though has me questioning a return. Service was slow and it appeared that Garrid was the only server in the entire restaurant/bar. An appetizer was ordered and when our meals came out and still no appetizer, we questioned our server and he flat out said he didn’t put the order in. No apology offered, he just asked if we wanted him to put it in now. That’s not really the point of an appetizer. Our cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak were so over-seasoned with black pepper that the pepper was all you could taste. When addressed with our server, he went to the kitchen and came back to tell us the meats were seasoned at prep and then seasoned again by the cooks b/c the cooks didn’t know they were already seasoned at prep. Not even an apology was offered. We asked for napkins, a neighboring table asked for napkins, the server got them, walked right by our table, and gave them to the neighboring table, then disappeared. Unfortunately, this meal was not worth the $60 we paid. To top it all off, the bartender allowed a patron’s dog to sit on a bar stool, at the bar, not on the floor. I don’t have a problem with service dogs being permitted in restaurants, but I do not believe it’s sanitary or appropriate to have them sitting at the table/bar.

Nice place. We came to watch a game and sat in the bar area – tvs everywhere! We especially liked the prep of the meatball grinder and coconut shrimp. The snapper soup is spicy but so good. We talked to a team member about the other dining and catering spaces – a very versatile sounding place. Service was attentive and genuine. The only downside is a little higher pricing. Maybe due to food cost and new place starting up. Lots of creamery ice cream for dessert. Worth checking out!

Went here for the first time and will not return. It was a Friday night at 5:15 and completely dead. That should tell you enough, being a new restaurant, the hype is already gone. The food was nothing special and for the price, not good. Our party had overcooked and undercooked fries, bland food, and the chips you get are just $3 ripple chips you’d buy from the grocery store. Not fresh cut. The kitchen forgot to make my order so I had to ask for it to come out. I had the Italian sub, probably the easiest thing you could make on the menu besides mozzarella sticks. It was a big sub but the bread was stale. For the price, ($15) plus 4% CC fee, I can go to Guiseppes downtown and get a better sub for less than $10. My wife got a burger, ($17) plus 4% CC fee, and it was good but again, the chips aren’t anything special and for the price I’d rather go to The Field and get a perfect burger with a toasted bun, and fresh cut chips. These items were the cheapest and easiest things on the menu. If you can’t impress me with this, why should I spend $80 on a filet and lobster tail meal? The competition is just better, it’s that simple. The only reason it got 1 star is our waitress tried her best to take care of a big party but even then you could tell the training just wasn’t there. Management needs to do a better job.

Went a few weeks ago at the soft opening. Good food! Fast service! Servers were very nice. It’s VERY football heavy. Almost feel the name should be PSU Football Live instead. Wish that they would decorate or support all of Penn State Athletics including Volleyball, Gymnastics, soccer, etc.

Great place! Would go again!

Food was outstanding as were our drinks from the bar. Way above expectations. Waiter (John) was excellent and spent some time telling the story of this place and ownership. Will go back.

OMG. Called ahead and asked what time they were open. They said full kitchen until 10, but just appetizers after that. I said perfect. When we arrived, we got a look of disgust with 8 people. Ordered mozzarella sticks, but when we asked to look at the menu again, they said kitchen is closed. Keep in mind, this was a home football weekend with a packed bar area. Football game still had like 10 minutes left. Seriously? Not one employee wanted to be there, and that is a management problem. You will be closed before summer. Good luck. Will never be back.

Stopped in after a campus tour during the soft opening. We used to eat here when it was a different restaurant. The food and service was really good. Very convenient place to eat if you want to avoid the congestion of being in town. The inside looks great with all the PSU memorabilia. We will definitely be back on our next trip.
