Their food is excellent. Good flavorful food. Juicy tender meat. Reasonable portions. Reasonable prices.
But their service even though they are smiling, they come really short.
Their service starts & ends at the casheir. After you order & sit @ your table & get your food. If you are dining in . They stop their service they don’t come ask if need more water or more things. Or if everything is OK.
So customers have to make up for their shortage of their service
But if you are taking orders out then you don’t notice this shortness in their service
Clean spacious place.
Lots of free parking.

I recently arrived from the Eastern Shore of Maryland and stopped in at about 11:30 a.m. yesterday. I looked up restaurants while I waited for tires, and the Happy Teriyaki jumped out. I am so happy I went there. The food was absolutely delicious and I couldn’t believe the price for the amount I was served. The spring rolls were the best I’ve ever had (and at 74 that’s a lot of rolls), and the pork Yakisoba was beautiful and very, very yummy. I took home leftovers and my niece loved it. The service was outstanding and my hot tea was topped off three times with a smile! I will be back and will bring my family.

Met 3 people here whom I hadn’t seen in awhile. We all ordered something different plus the sampler platter for the table.
We were all very happy with our food. Especially one of the people who is allergic to gluten and hadn’t had teriyaki in a long time (they have a GF option). The portions were so much larger than I would have expected! I was able to get a couple of meals out of mine.
Everything is expensive now everywhere – that being said, this place was very reasonably priced in comparison which is where the large portions surprised me.
We took up one table for awhile as we were catching up. We did keep an eye out to make sure there were always empty tables (and we werent holding one up), but we did still sit there for a couple of hours i believe. Never did the staff ever make us feel like we needed to go or that we were overstaying our welcome. SO appreciated since as I mentioned we all hadn’t seen each other in a while and it was nice to catch up.
Food was delicious, portions were huge, prices were reasonable, staff was friendly…I absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I’m a New Yorker visiting Seattle. After hiking at Mount Renier the family was hungry. There was 9 of us. We ordered the large tray of food it had everything. It has everything. So good. Super nice server. Highly recommend

A local favorite for many years! I’ve been away for a few and the quality is just as great as I remember. Plenty of sit yourself seating. Great ambience. Can get busy so wait times can be a little long depending on the crowd. It’s worth the wait! The staff is always so friendly and attentive. We ordered the sukiyaki (sweet beef soup) and beef yakisoba 10/10 on both dishes.

Not very impressed with customer service or tasting in food. I moved to the area and was excited to try the food since the ratings are good. Had to ask for water and sauces when usually most places have them for you ready. I found a hair in my food and they didn’t even care . Not coming back ever

A- | Food was fresh and big portions. My chicken katsu was very crispy and juicy. The teriyaki was juicy as well though sauce was a little heavy for my liking. Atmosphere gets a 3 because 2 tables had food sauce/crumbs on them when we seated ourselves. Other than that it’s a very good restaurant. Fast, fresh, big portions for take home box. Parking was easy as well.

A local favorite for teriyaki for decades. Great for a quick weekday lunch or a relaxed family dinner. Consistently good food and the portions are the same for dine-in and take out. The gluten free teriyaki with veggies and rice is flavorful and the gluten free sauce is very good. Before gluten free became a necessity, the beef donburi (happy bowl), gyoza, and spicy teriyaki were among my favorites. Staff are friendly and attentive – recognizing regulars by name. There is seating for larger parties dining in. Inside is a fish tank and koi pond – always entertaining children. The happy party tray is also a great option for large parties – which can be ordered for takeout. Ordering to go can be done online, by phone, or in person.

Momma makes it and all the sauces. The salad dressing is to die for!
This place is definitely the original teriyaki. Believe me when I say ALL the others are trying to be copycats.
