Fantastic coffee shop!! It’s secluded enough that it’s not overrun and large enough that there’s plenty of space when it is busy. They have a robust menu with lots of drinks & delicious food options including Avocado Toast with everything bagel seasoning-Yum! The employees are super friendly and there’s a lot of little things around to do like tic tacos toe, magazines, books etc.

Amazing local coffee house in the heart of Gulf Shores! Family owned and operated, this place is always bustling and the staff is very hospitable. They make you feel like family from the second you walk in. Fantastic atmosphere for meeting friends, getting some computer work done, or enjoying a book and coffee on one of their dangerously comfortable plushy chairs. Huge menu with tons of options including dairy free and various milk alternatives. They also host occasional evening events with live music and light snacks. I Would highly recommend this inviting and warm coffee shop to anyone visiting or living here. You won’t regret it!

We’ve tried most of the coffee places in Gulf Shores and this is one of our favorites! This place is a true local coffee shop with great quality coffee, fun specialty/seasonal flavors, and a cozy atmosphere. We got there during a busy time and they moved through the line quickly without rushing anyone. The staff was so kind! Cant wait until we can go back again, I have a whole list of drinks I want to try!

We’ve been visiting Gulf Shores for years now, but somehow had never stopped by this lovely little spot! We will definitely be adding this coffee shop to our yearly itinerary.
Coffee was delicious and not too sweet, with plenty of fun flavor options and even a large variety of offerings for non-coffee drinkers. We didn’t try any pastries, but they looked phenomenal, and we were certainly tempted.
Staff was kind and helpful, and service was quick even though they were experiencing some technical difficulties with their payment system. They did a fantastic job anticipating our needs before we even voiced them
The shop itself was clean, well-organized, and cozy, with a great variety of seating options. Everything was clearly labelled and easy to find.
A great spot to pickup some drinks, or hang out and get some work done.

This has been my go-to local coffee shop for almost 5 years now! The quality of the coffee is excellent, rich in flavor, and so smooth. There are so many great breakfast and lunch items, as well as amazing desserts available as well. I have pretty much tried at least one of everything that they have on the menu and have never been disappointed. When it comes to the service, the answer is in the name! All of the employees are happy, fun, and very kind to customers. That same climate translates into the atmosphere of the whole shop. That’s why people spend hours there every day just hanging out. It is truly a happy environment that keeps you coming back. I am so thankful that we have such a place for the locals to go in our area!

When I say these are the BEST EGGS I have ever had, I am not joking. I got the sausage egg and cheese English muffin sandwich and it was INCREDIBLE. I’d go back just for the breakfast, honestly.
I also had the mountain berry muffin which was equally amazing. The coffee was great as well. I loved the atmosphere inside, and they also had a cute little area behind the building with outdoor seating available.

Visiting from NY and happened to meet the owner of Pappys while shopping at Walmart. Asked our cashier for recommendations for great coffee and she said, “Well there’s the owner of a great spot right there!” He was so nice and his staff at Happy Pappys was just as friendly. Loved the whole atmosphere here! We ordered a caramel latte, sparkling lavender lemonade and an iced Greek coffee…all were fantastic! We also bought a sweatshirt and some stickers made by local artists. Will definitely be stopping in daily while here on vacation and highly recommend to anyone looking for friendly service and excellent coffee/espresso!

I’d give this place a chance! I am admittedly very particular: I like my lattes espresso-forward, not sweet, and made creamy (with heavy cream). I even added an extra shot to my small latte, but it still tasted initially more like a watery Cappuccino, than a bold, velvety latte. The milk was also steamed frothy which just wasn’t my personal jam. Very watery… but then, a half hour later (after the cream settled,) the latte tasted very rich and I enjoyed it a lot. Very sweet service, too. Nice atmosphere, clean and cute bathroom even. The little details make a difference!

We always visit Happy Pappy’s whenever we come to Gulf shores to visit my parents. They are always super nice, and super quick. The breakfast burrito is delicious (everything on the menu is delicious) and their coffee is magical. We love sitting outside in the shaded area. We’re sad they’re doing construction next door, but hopefully it’ll be something good.
