I always get Happy Joes when I am back in the area. Came to this specific location and the server seemed frazzled. We had to go ask for plates and silverware but the other sever gave to her tables. The food was good and hot as always.
Thats being said…there was a birthday party going on, contemplated getting ice cream until I looked over and saw a lady and her kids in the ice cream cooler getting ice cream. Not sure if she was an employee m, but no offense she was dirty (clothes and hair) her kids were as well and her kids were in the ice cream cooler playing and getting their own ice cream. No gloves, nothing. This alone is shocking. Not sure Id be back to this location based on this alone.

Hi I love happy joes but this was my first time at the leclaire location tonight. Ordered pick up pizza and pasta, I think a little review may be needed..
All the ingredients on the pizza were in the middle i had toppings, like really at lease 3-4 inches from the crust was just cheese pizza….honestly pizza was good but I think who ever made this pizza did not give much care this go around.
Second… not sure how this is a thing but my to go pasta was baked in a aluminum foil sheet bent into a bowl ish type shape….seemed undercooked inside but good on top… I order regularly from w 50th and never had a to go pasta in a sheet of aluminum foil…. I reheated in my oven and it was very tasty
Maybe next time will be better – 1 visit does not mean it’s always like this I hope, but have to say spending well over 40 for a large pizza and pasta was disheartening for this outcome.

We were recently in LeClaire, IA and saw an ad for Happy Joe’s Pizza. My wife and I have fond memories of a Happy Joe’s that was in Sheboygan, WI back in the day. Neither of us knew that Happy Joe’s is a small franchise chain.
On this date, we made new memories at this Happy Joe’s. The LeClair location is located downtown right up the street from the Buffalo Bill Museum and the “Steam Boat Tour” docks.
The pizza is outstanding with a number of options from their specials to “Make your own.” We chose to make our own. Now I am a bit of a pizza snob, and this pizza is some of the best.
They also have a pizza buffet in the afternoon during the week. Went here for dinner and the next day we stopped in for a pie to go so we could eat it on the rode during our trip back home to WI.
I spoke with who I believe was the owner and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff is also helpful and friendly too. Now that we know this is a franchise we found that there is a Happy Joe’s in Green Bay. I will review that when we head up there.
I highly recommend Happy Joes for a great meal and family atmosphere.

Absolutely the NICEST and most GENUINE people you’ll ever encounter! The entire restaurant was so clean and the food was definitely made with love! We happened to come to this location while traveling from Minnesota and all the staff were kind to our rowdy, messy kiddos. They were accommodating and went out of their way! I will definitely be coming back!! Thank you for making this day one to remember!

Ordered the special for January; omelet 3 meat pizza & one 1/2 sausage 1/2 cheese pizza. Both were good, but the breakfast pizza was our favorite. It was worth every penny! The college/high school aged kids did an amazing job from taking our order to a flawless pickup! Thank you 🙂

Wow, this place has outstanding pizza. The crust was amazingly crisp. The sauce was out of this world delicious. The veggies were so fresh it was like they came right out of the garden. The sausage was very tasty with just the right amount of spices. The cheese bread was amazingly delicious. The customer service was fantastic and very friendly. The restrooms were super clean. The overall atmosphere was phenomenal. This is a must stop for pizza if you’re in the area. This is very close to, if not one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. They are definitely doing it right at this place.

We LOVE LOVE Happy Joe’s and travel VERY far for the taco pizza and sometimes just do a road trip specifically here. Taco Pizza is the bomb – Crust, sauce, taco meat, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce and taco sauce. $$ Prices certainly went up, up, up. One medium and one large taco pizza was $60! We make a point to stop here whenvever we are on the Illinois/Iowa border.

I was traveling with some friends from England and they had never tried Root Beer. As we walked by we found out they had root beer floats so we went in to check it out. They were super friendly and had 6 root beer floats made up in no time. We enjoyed the root beer and ice cream. The Brits actually enjoyed the root beer…WINNING! overall it is a nice little place to get a snack.
