Happy Joe’s remains the home of some of the best taco pizza on the planet.
I’ll readily admit that some of this is based on nostalgia, but it’s really, really good.
Their appetizers are good as well, but it’s generally advisable to save room for the pizza.
There’s an old style arcade for the kids to play simple games and get prizes as well.
I drove 3 hours just to have some. If you’re nearby, you should stop in.

I had some Good service and some bad service there this Time.
First of all, I am a former resident of Lancaster, Wisconsin. I have been eating at Happy Joe’s Pizza since 1988.
I am also a retired Decorated 1st Lieutenant which is a Military Officer.
I am Sad to say that this is the first Time that I did NOT have a Good experience.
I was at this Happy Joe’s Pizza location Yesterday, Monday, June 12, 1023.
The two Female Waitresses there were very polite and kind and they had manners.
However the male waiter there was rude and ignorant.
I ordered a Taco Pizza and I ate there.
I decided to be nice and polite and clean up my table myself. I was trying to help.
The male waiter went on a melt down and started complaining about how I should not put my dirty dishes on the counter and that I should just leave them on the table.
I apologized to him and I explained that I was trying to help and clean up my mess.
He walked into the back and he continued his meltdown and I could hear him complaining to the two Female Waitresses about this.
If he had something to say, then he should be a man and come complain to me, instead of being a coward and going to complain to the other employees there.
Second of all, This is not the way that you talk to somebody. That is not Good customer service.
As a person who served our country and who has fought for our Freedom and our Rights, I do not appreciate being talked to with such disrespect by some puke bucket who looks like he is still in High School.
If you want respect, then you treat people with respect.
Thank You to the two Female Waitresses who were respectful to me and they treated me with kindness. At least I received kind service from them

This was the worst pizza. The sauce tasted like flavorless ketchup, the cheese was barely melted, the Canadian bacon was chopped up so fine it was like flavorless bacon bits. The sauce was spread to the edges of a soggy crust that tasted like it was a premade/precooked piece of cardboard. The little dipping pizza crust bites were soggy undercooked and had the flavor of grease and old garlic.
You would be better off to get a frozen pizza at the Kwik mart or just go hungry. Don’t waste your money on this straight up garbage

Roadtripped from Madison to get pizza from Happy Joe’s. My family grew up with a franchise in both Onalaska and LaCrosse and we loved the Happy Joe Special, and the Taco Joe! Ordered one large of each and man, they were both great! Got 3 small HJ Specials to go for freezing so I can enjoy them later. Well worth the drive. We’ll be doing it again!

Excited to go there after 20+ yrs. Food was great and I was excited to finally get to have the taco pizza again! Just slightly bummed. It was my father’s birthday. I wanted my kids to experience the birthday process there. There were others there and we asked multiple times of which the older gentlemen acknowledged it. However they simply just wouldn’t do it. However the food was still very good. (My dad was relieved after we told him). However it would have been great to have also been told so we weren’t waiting around. We also ended up buying ice cream for the kids assuming we were just waiting for them. There were only 2 other tables being served at this time so we knew they also weren’t that busy to do so. Again food was great though.

This pizza place is my absolute favorite. The owner cares about service and goes the extra mile with customer service. The taco pizza here is what makes them different than any other. I will always be looking to make a stop in anytime I’m in the area. Never disappointed. Thanks guys!!

We ate here per the request of my 8 year old begging. The service was good, wasn’t ready for it to be $72 for a medium pizza with half cheese half pepperoni, a large chicken bacon ranch pizza, and 12 boneless BBQ wings, plus 5 drink. It was good food and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the arcade. This will definitely be a special night treat for the kids. Definitely would go again.

Went for pizza today for a 4 year old birthday. First thing I ask the guy behind the counter was do you still sing happy Birthday. He said yes took all the information down. We got our pizza and waited for them to come out and sing happy birthday to the 4 year old that never happened. Not one employee come out and checked on us. Needless to say had a disappointed 4 year old. And we were the only customers in there. Will probably never go back. If you treat your customers that way.
