Happy Joes use to have the greatest Taco Pizza in the world! I had 3 LG pizzas delivered 1 taco 1 Nacho Joe 1 Canadian Bacon w/ pineapple on the side. $110 + tip $15 =$125 all 3 pizzas tasted exactly the same. I wish I would have just went to Walmart and gotten Jacks frozen pizza! Delivery driver was very respectful and charismatic!! Well done sir!!

We have come a handful of times and have always been happy with our food and service. However, this evening we came with 4 kids to celebrate my son’s birthday. The food was great per usual. However, service was a little off this evening. The boy who took our order would barely talk and we could hardly hear what he was saying. But we had thought we ordered a pizza to go along with our food we were eating there. He asked us if we wanted them to cook it now or wait and we had said they could do it now. Somehow, it didn’t end up on our receipt. We didn’t notice until we asked for our to go pizza. A lady, who seemed to be in charge for the night, bc she was wearing blue, came out asking about the pizza. My family member had ordered it, and she was in the bathroom at the time. The lady was badgering us about what kind of pizza we ordered and how they didn’t even have that kind of pizza there (you know, all meat at difference places vary on names). I explained my family member had ordered it so i was waiting for her to come out of the bathroom to look at her reciept. She was just overall rude about the situation. We ended up staying longer to wait for the pizza and play games. This same lady accused our children of going into the men’s bathroom and locking the door. 3/4 of our children can’t go to a bathroom alone as they are too little, and we took them into the women’s bathroom with us. 1 child who can go to the bathroom, alone, didn’t even go to the bathroom while we were there. I had to repeat myself 3 times that no one in my group had even went into the men’s bathroom. 1 minute later, another older kid came walking out of the bathroom. Maybe asking nicely if we had been in there would have been a start.

We ate at this Happy Joes about a year ago and our experience wasn’t great, however we stopped in yesterday to give it another try after the owner replied to my original review and said things would be changed and hopefully, we would give them another chance! This is the Redemption story you could say! WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! From start to finish! Bravo…. Outside was welcoming, manicured, and inviting! Walked in and bright colors, all fresh and CLEAN! Becky greeted us with a smile and a “welcome to Happy Joes” <3 She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and helped us throughout! The FOOD was absolutely delicious! The new decor, atmosphere, overall was amazing! There is nothing more satisfying than to watch a business take pride in their establishment! The place was filling up as we sat and admired everything! It was so nice to see so many families coming in and enjoying this Happy Joes! Awesome job to all... We will definitely be back soon!

The taco pizza was one of my favorites from back in my teen years living in Iowa. So I drove about 40 miles out of my way to eat here and it was good but the flavors seemed off. The crust however is wonderfully crisp outside but airy on the bite and chew. Would probably try this again but maybe a different location.

Th arcade has new machines which seems you can just swipe your card to play. Food is delicious. I especially enjoy the salad bar. They have great dressing. Their pasta is also very tasty. The food is always fresh and the staff is polite!

The pizza was not good and neither were the wings but the service was good. They didnt update the bathroom, it was barley held together, the stall was hard to close, and had a big gap in the door where you are exposed to anyone washing their hands. My picture does not do justice to the amount of the toilet that’s visible from the sink.

Never had a taco pizza before til now.. the crust was nice and slightly crispy, the toppings were sausage, tomatoes, chopped lettuce, crushed up seasoned tortilla chips, and a good taco sauce you can put on top. The wings were seasoned and fried just right.. there’s a modal train that circles above the main dining room. Wherever the train stops if it stops in a spot where it says free ice cream, free small size pizza, or a free soda you win that prize. But you had to be the one who put the quarter in for the train to run to win. Happy Joe’s pizzeria is a family, friendly environment.. clean restaurant, polite and attentive service’s just overall great experience. When ever I’m back in kewanee I will be back

I see they have gambling machines now. How can this be a family restaurant and a save place for kids to play games when there is gambling machines there. Seems to me like they are grooming children into eventually having a gambling addiction in the future. I think Happy Joe if he were alive would be disgusted. I won’t be back.

We had a wonderful experience here on 4/13! The restaurant has been remodeled and was very clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly, engaging, and helpful. We all enjoyed the game room with new games all in working condition. The pizza and cheese sticks tasted great! We have been visiting this Happy Joe’s for 2 decades and this is the best we have seen it.. we will definitely be back!
