I was thrilled to find a Korean restaurant in Augusta. The outside is very humble, but to me, that is a great sign. The food is what is important! The inside feels authentic with it’s efficient furnishing and culturally relevant decor. The 90’s era Kpop was so nostalgic. The food more than satisfied my craving, I was delighted! I got the pan-fried mackerel, it was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The side dishes were very good, especially the potatoes. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Augusta.

Very homey meal. Give it a shot. Some of the sides were unlimited too with our order.

They will charge you a 15% gratuity and then have you come to the counter to get refills or anything you need. Do not charge me a fee if you don’t intend to come wait on the table at all.

Also, family style sharing is very normal. They add a $9 fee to share.

Don’t let the outside looks deceive you. This place is amazing! I’ve been on a Jjajangmyeon binge lately and was craving it when I was visiting Augusta. Found this place that also offered tteokbokki and kimbap- my two other favorite Korean dishes. Decided to give this place a shot
We arrived right when they opened. We were greeted and sat down. Drinks came out quick. We ordered kimbap and tteokbokki (mild level) as appetizers and I ordered the Jjajangmyeon and my guest ordered the fried rice. Food came out quickly. The kimbap was delicious. Smaller than the other kimbap I’m familiar with and different with the rice outside the seaweed but it was delicious. Especially with the sauce it came with. The tteokbokki came out right behind the kimbap and was, also, just as good. Rice cakes were nice and chewy, the mild spice level was good (I could have easily gone up to medium or spicy) and the fish cakes were good. Jjajangmyeon my nice and hot, noodles were chewy and the sauce was delicious. Nice balance of noodles, veggies and the sauce. We absolutely enjoyed our visit and we have found our new Korean restaurant. Highly recommend

I grew up with Korean friends and this is NOT real Korean bbq. The food is mediocre, at best and me being generous and completely overpriced, not worth the 20 bucks we are going to pay for each plate. The service is a joke, five people who came after us got their food before us. The kimchi was such a disappointment. I asked for a plastic fork because I am immunocompromised and it was not in a plastic wrapping. I took one bite and left the rest of my food. I would stay away. It also smells horrible.

Edit: NOT worth the 70 dollars spent. We left hungry and went to a different restaurant. If I could give it zero stars I would. 0/10 for sure.

Keep an eye on your bill.
They add charges. Maybe it was 20% mandatory gratuity (but even that doesn’t explain the large fee)
they didn’t tell us ahead of time about any fees or and they still asked for an additional gratuity afterwards soooo…..
Also if you get a receipt it just has a final amount and doesn’t show any details or what costs what, which adds to the sketchiness.
Wasn’t just me either.
Happened to other people we ate with.
Lesson learned.

I generally love getting food here. Lately the kitmcji has tasted old and sour. Its time to use a new batch. Also the must have forgotten an ingredient for the cucumber kimchi. It tasted only like cucumber.

The staff is so nice and attentive, and when I tell you the food is amazing, I truly mean it. The portion sizes are big but reasonable, and food is worth the price. The wait times are not bad either, you can tell they make sure the food is good and that they make it right. I personally get the Gan Jja Jang, and it is easily a 10/10. If you enjoy noodle dishes, they have amazing noodle dishes and they have really good ramen as well. Me and my girlfriend are definitely gonna be regulars here for sure.
