Absolutely disgusting! The restaurant is filthy with dirty black stained ceiling tiles handing. The floors were disgusting too. I have no idea that the Dept of Health allows this place to stay open. I couldn’t even eat the food that i ordered after leaving disgusted. I threw it all out I wish I could give this place a Zero! Please don’t waste your time going here. There are plenty other Chinese Restaurants in the area.

So much fat in the pork fried rice. Shrimp in garlic sauce with Chinese vegetables so salty. The iced tea taste like Lipton powder mix with extra sugar. Very disappointing

I am a dumpling junkie, and these were some good dumplings! So take out food is a yes, not much atmosphere for dinning in, but if ur looking to get out of the cold, it will do just nicely! (Food is good!) ☮️

When I placed my order I was told 20 minutes to pickup. 30 minutes I showed up to pickup my order and they didn’t start it yet. Now I’m told 10-15 minutes for my order. If you are on a schedule do not order from here because you’re going to wait no matter when you order.

I ordered a lunch special- the shrimp in lobster sauce with fried white rice. To be honest it is a dish I haven’t tried before … I wish I had better things to say but the picture speaks for itself in my opinion. Maybe it’s just me but the presentation turned me off automatically. Still tasted it even with it looking like that, it tasted just as bad as it looked. Willing to give another try with another order but not anytime soon. The woman was super nice when I ordered though, so I’m giving a second star.

Ordered chicken with garlic sauce and Gen Tso chicken. Paid $33. Looked at my receipt and they charged $13 per dish PLUS $3 for fried rice for each dish which I never ordered.
Make sure you know what your paying for before you pay. Never going here again.

Over the years, we’ve tried a number of Chinese restaurants in the Bridgewater area, and some have been very good…at times.
Happy Garden Zhu is the only one that’s consistently excellent. It’s a no-nonsense, no-frills comfort food that hits the mark every single time. Oh, and they hook us up with the face-melting spiciness that we crave. Highly recommend.

Delicious meal! Quick pickup and very good food: streamed dumplings, spare ribs, vegetable mai fun, chicken pad Thai, beef and broccoli, egg rolls – all fresh and made perfectly – excellent!! We will order again!!

This is an excellent take out spot. Don’t let the phone manners scare you from ordering here. I have a go-to from their menu, but I haven’t been disappointed when I’ve tried things outside the comfort zone. Take out rather than eat in. Always order ahead especially when the pizza place next door is hopping, parking can be difficult.
