39$ for 5 chicken wings , 6 half sticks of beef teriyaki and 6 dumplings. The beef is burnt, the chicken is burnt and way overcooked and so dry. I’m disappointed they served this take out to me like this . The most I’ve ever paid for this amount of Chinese food and I think it’s the worst I’ve ever had. The dumplings were good at least. Bathroom was really gross too. Toilet paper everywhere . And the place has just opened.

The chicken fingers were OK and the beef teriyaki was OK but the rice was definitely old rice. All the rice was hard. I felt like almost overcooked and like it was yesterday rice mixed with today. And they didn’t even give me no utensils like I had asked definitely would not re-order from here again

It’s open mic night I guess? There’s a live performer in their bar right now and that’s actually kinda cool. They support the local talent no matter their skill level and I find that very endearing.(more places should do that)
The food was good, the pan fried noodles could have been crispier, so if you order that and like them really crispy, maybe tell them that. The sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken was pretty good.
They refilled our drinks without us asking and my hot tea was very strong and the exact temperature it needed to be. Great because it was pouring rain outside. They gave us an extra fortune cookie, lucky!

Are you looking for a restaurant that only caters to its regular five dollar beer drinkers? Then you found the one. The hostess will definitely make sure to prioritize anybody who regularly comes in versus anybody else. Plenty of other places to pick up mediocre Chinese food.

This place used to be the best for me in Massachusetts. Always hot and fresh. I am not sure if ownership changed but the food is disgusting now. I have tried several times hoping they were having off day but no, this is what they serve now. I would not waste your money coming here.

I can only vouch for the food itself here – we have not dined in so I don’t have any experience with parking, wait times, drinks – I have had take out 3-4 times. Each time the food was hot, ready on time and tasty. I high recommend the crab rangoons they are so delicious. I have also had beef teriyaki, egg rolls, chicken fingers and lo mein and all were very good.

Sayonara Happy Garden !
Being a former resident of this town, we often ordered take out from here. The food was tasty, the portions were good. Food quality and prices were also very good.
However, our visit on 1/8/25 was a visit of moderate disappointment! Having stopped here for a dinner on our way home, my wife and I were looking forward to having the great meals we previously ordered, as take out, here many times before.
Sad to say, but this turned out to be our last visit to Happy Gardens.
I should have picked up on the lack of customer vehicles as we entered the parking lot. But it was of no real concern at that time. Then, the fact that bar seats were all occupied. And that no customers at the available dining tables. Also, no customer(s) waiting to pick up their takeout orders as in my past visits there.
My dinner of Chicken/Broccoli and
Fried Rice was lukewarm when delivered to our table. I had to personally return my plate to the staff at the cash register to have it reheated to the proper temperature. I also informed this person of my displeasure of how this meal was given to me. at such a low temperature.
I also had to ask for salt/pepper/soy sauce as there were none on any of the tables surrounding us. Several minutes later. My meal was delivered hot as it should have been the first time.
All seemed to be going well until I began getting to the bottom serving of food on my plate. I excused a couple of the pieces of chicken that had some fat on them, but as I ate more, I came across more fat on the remaining chicken. The broccoli floret tips were cooked and tasty. The stalks needed to be steamed/cooked more.
