This was not a good experience. I ordered sesame chicken and they sent me sweet a sour chicken smothered in sesame sauce….the food was all mediocre and messed up. There was no flavor and we ended up needing to throw it out because it was pretty much inedible. It was cold, slimy and discolored. 100$ down the drain.

Date 1/31/26 I orders over the phone 2 Special Fried Rice with (2) Extra Eggs on each order. My bill was $39.71..Food was GARBAGE 2 To go containers of Special Fried RICE could have easily been inside of 1 container that’s how small my food was. Very Disappointing ⭐️ I’ve been eating in Chinatown Downtown all my life. Happy Garden that I remember use to be by Harborview by the Wash House back in the 2000 Then they moved Downtown on 3rd Ave..The losers in Burien can’t be the same owners.. Our family has been regulars of Happy Garden since moving to Burien two years ago. We’ve never been disappointed. This time was no different. Every bit of food pictured was from the takeout order. We ordered Combo B for two. There was enough food that with some white rice I made at home, we just got dinner for a second night!

My boyfriend got the kung pow chicken which was pretty good. I got the lemon chicken which was good. I liked breading which was like the milinesa style but the lemon sauce was like lemon jelly they fill donuts with and holy crap batman did they overload it on my chicken..not to mention im used to it typically given on the side. Ordered a glass of wine which upon tasting and looking was infact franzia boxed wine.

The Egg Flower Soup was thick with lots of egg with just enough salt content to keep me spooning it in.
The Beef Chow Fun, was not greasy, which is hard to find! Noodles were soft and springy.
The Orange Chicken comes with a subtle brown sauce that clings to the meat, offering smooth richness and and light notes of citrus.

I can not eat this food. Won tons were made with hard meatballs. The Mu Su was wrong consistency and taste. Chow main noodle were so soggy. Yuck

I have enjoyed American Chinese food all my life. My favorite place was the Red Lotus in Auburn. I just tried this beautiful little gem in Burien yesterday and it blew my mind and those that joined me. The taste was amazing and such fast and friendly service. I will be back… soon!
