Reviews
Our regular order includes their beef chow fun, scramble egg and beef, salt and pepper pork chops, black beans chicken, and honey walnut shrimp.
Their house soup is also always flavorful, and food comes out so fast. It is consistently delicious and so comforting.
We never have an issue finding street parking, and we always get seated right away. Many years later, still one of our favorite spots!
The orange chicken is good here too!
Thank you to restaurant employees!
I’m a chef so I’m a food snob, but I’m used to New York Style Chinese food and I was addicted to that. West coast Chinese is whelming at best.
They consistently cook their veggies the same on each of my visits.
Their food images mirrors the photos they have on site. This is my hidden gems in the area.
We’ve tried a bunch of the regular food and it’s also good, but we’re here for the soup. Definitely our go-to Chinese restaurant now.
Located on busy MacArthur boulevard but you can probably find street parking close by fairly easily. I believe they only offer takeout at this point.
Chicken chow mein: Bad news first: hella bland, as-is it just had very little flavor. Good news: all the ingredients were cooked perfectly. Chicken was tender and high-quality; noodles weren’t too tender/soft which ruins the entire dish for me. Surprisingly, the whole dish was easily saved by dumping an assload of soy sauce in there. After that, it was actually pretty good, I’d actually get it again. But I do wish they’d just up their savory/salty game on this dish directly.
Service was friendly.
I got take-away but I couldn’t tell if they are actually seating ppl or it’s takewaway only.
A chinese restaurant that doesn’t know how to make a simple fried rice dish is a big no-no for me. Definitely not coming back.
