I found this place because I noticed that when I do DoorDash (helps keep me from being a lazy bum since my “regular” job has me sitting all day), I am frequently here. I’m talking many, many times during a dash… folks seem to absolutely love the place! Naturally, I got curious. I ordered my regular, which I normally get from a little place closer to my apartment, and not only was it cheap, the portions are HUGE! The restaurant is in a building that used to be a Bojangles when I was a little kid. I have fond memories of it because my grandmother used to take me there to eat… the windows are always all fogged up at night, which sort of gives it a spooky vibe (being a horror fan, I dig that). It has a buffet if you want to eat in, and it’s right off the interstate if you’re traveling. The people that work there go super fast, and they are nice to DoorDashers… which I have noticed there are a couple of restaurants around town that are super rude to DoorDashers. Thumbs way up for some good sweet and sour chicken, conveniently located, on a budget. ️

Good little restaurant that is popular with Door Dash, has a simple buffet menu, plus it’s cheap. Buffet is 11 per person for dinner including drinks and that is pretty good. The food is fresh and tasty. The reason for 4-stars is because after you pay, they ignore you and you have to clean up after yourself or reuse your plate if you want more than two plates. The atmosphere too is lacking. Someone could have done much better with the paintbrush than they did. But overall, my husband and I were pleased and will return.

Super tasty food and quite affordable. Takeout boxes are $9 each and dine in is $11 for 2 plates, a bowl, and a cup (styrofoam). The place is a little run down but I’ll definitely be stopping by next time I’m in the area

They were SO nice and kind. I am so glad I went in to pick up my order normally I get stuff delivered. The spicy tofu was amazing and the dumplings YOU HAVE TO TRY!!!

I am a truck driver chose this restaurant to have my dinner. Paid for buffet and want to go plate. The lady up front before I could even sit down to start eating was very rude stared at me the entire time I was in there made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable and could not enjoy my food worst experience at a Chinese restaurant ever get rid of the lady running the front.and don’t forget the rude woman’s body guard that hears a customer complaining. Absolutely shenanigans.. i walk into restaurant was greeted by a kid that came around! The counter on me. asked me, what did I want!!. very off putting .. I told him I wanted a buffet for here. He proceeds to ring me out and gives me a go box. an a cup. I told him I didn’t need a drink an it was for here.. but in the course of eating there dry cold chicken .. I ask him could I get the cup that already paid for. for water.. an he demanded 2 bucks more.. the buffet is dangerously low temp..

i have always ate at this place but the last time i did i found a bug and they didn’t want to give me full refund even was nice and went up to them and showed them the bug then try’s to tell me it not a bug but i just wouldnt waste your money on this place i never had a issue i mean everything it ghetto in my opinion but it cheap but i still wouldnt i literally felt sick the whole day. if i was you dont come here no more .

No consistency at all. The flavor always varies like they don’t rinse out the wok between dishes. What I got today tasted like a ton of onion with a hint of shrimp. Yuck!!! Also, would it kill any of them to actually show personality and smile. Not one of them I has ever smiled or came across friendly….ever!!!! They all look like they are being forced to work and hate being there and hate waiting on you.

We’ve going to Happy Garden for years. Not after today. After being harassed in the parking lot, and then again when entering (we thought we were entering a safe place) the restaurant by some homeless crazy couple, (which they entered), I told the staff “they shouldn’t be allowed in. They started some shit in the parking lot”. After a cussing shouting match between us in the restaurant the staff did nothing. They just stood there looking dumbfounded. They didn’t make the crazy, nasty couple leave. We choose to leave. They lost our business. Sad.

I ordered from grub hub and when i received my food i was missing 7 items and I called them and they were being extremely rude to me i then went up there to get my other items i was missing and they where rude and disrespectful they refused to give me the items I ordered and yelled at me!!! Do not eat here they have roaches and mold!!!! I will be reporting this as well, they scam and they lie….i didnt get the rest of my food or my money back!
