Best ribs of my entire life. They’re moist, tender, and the rub is out of this world. We went once and had to come back the very next day. The chicken is delicious as well, and the fried pork is amazing. It pairs perfectly with their homemade lemonades.

This is among the best food I’ve had in Hawaii. If you go to Lihue on your trip and you’re there on a Saturday or Sunday, make plans for lunch here, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Important to note I was there in late January 2025 and they told us that was their last weekend in the walmart parking lot and they were having to find a different location. Check their instagram to see where they relocate to, they told us they’d provide updates there.
The prices are great, the service is fast, and the flavors are Parts Unknown level incredible. I had their marinated chicken with guava bbq sauce and it was unbelievably good. The marinade was flavorful just eating the chicken by itself which was tender, moist, and perfectly cooked. The guava bbq sauce elevated it to a level I can’t describe, you have to try it for yourself.
It’s a cash only operation so come prepared. Super polite and caring family that runs it and they really care about providing you with great food that they clearly take a lot of pride in.

Easy to get to with plenty of parking, ie walmart parking lot. Both chicken and ribs were moist, tender, and flavorful. Way better than competition (CIB). Service was fast and friendly since we were the 2nd one there when it first opened.

I wish I could add a picture of our food, but we ate it too quickly to share! This was definitely the BEST meal we had on Kaua’i this trip. My husband got the chicken mini plate and I ordered the à la carte half rack of ribs and both were incredible. My husband said “I hold order that again right now!” Thank you for the great meal, we will be dreaming of this until next year!!

Food: We got the Happy Plate to try a bit of everything. The ribs are very tasty and flavorful. Between marinated and dry chicken, the latter one is more salty, but both of them go well with the chili water. It’s such a refreshing flavor!
Service: very sweet ladies help us with orders.

Not only are the ribs amazing and the chicken great, the service is freaking phenomenal. I felt so welcomed and cared for. Smiles everywhere and overall amazing thoughtful service. We’ll be back before we leave the island to go home!

WOW. The best ribs and chicken we’ve ever had in Hawaii. They are so juicy… so flavorful… I almost want to come back to Kauai just for the ribs ❤️
Only open on Saturdays and Sundays. FYI for vacationers like us – a lot of these food trucks are only open on weekends and until they run out of supply!

The best Hulu Huli chicken anywhere period! Whether you get the marinade or dry rub you won’t go wrong. The combo plates are enough for two. My goto is the dry rub chicken and ribs combo. These ribs are the best you can get anywhere! The chicken is moist and so flavorful. Combo plates run $16 or so, again worth every nickle. Please don’t come here for vegan options.

This has to make it to the top 10 in casual restaurants. Only on Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 2pm in the parking lot of WalMart. The chicken (particularly the marinated) is very juicy and perfectly cooked. Ribs are excellent, not dry/overcooked, and not dry/overcharred. Lechon has to be my favorite, though. Crunchy, flavorful with a thin dipping sauce. I could go on and on… do yourself a favor and try, but go early. Close at 2 or until they run out. Would post a Pic of our plate, but it was gone before I thought of it!
