First you pick up a bowl and then go to a self service counter where you choose the vegetables and protein for your meal. You then pick up a smaller bowl and pick the sauces you want. Afterwards the chef dumps your bowl and sauce on a big flat iron grill and cooks it up for you.
The vegetables and meats on the self service counter looked fresh but when we were there it was messy and there was product all over the counter. The floor was a bit sticky when we were standing there and my wife complained that she stuck to her chair.
Of course the combinations you can choose are endless and our choices were quite tasty so I can say the food is good but a little expensive for what it is.
The staff were very nice and attentive.
Would we come back? Maybe but doubtful only because of the stickiness.

Friendly staff, fast service, and it’s Mingolian BBQ, so if the foods not good, it’s probably your fault..lol.. plenty options to choose from for protein and veggies… only complaint, NO shrimp. They have suggestions for the sauces, but of course you can always do your own concoction. It’s all you can eat, so you can do multiple variations and try anything/everything all different ways, up to you… If you don’t do a second bowl/plate you can take gome left overs, so again 100% your choice…. I will be going back

The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. I had never tried Mongolian BBQ before so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was pretty cool that they cook the bowl of ingredients right in front of you. And the food was definitely not bad! But I think I need more practice of concocting delicious sauces to cook with.

I really liked this place! The food was fresh, and it’s fun being able to make your own bowl exactly how you want it. There were tons of meat, veggie, and sauce options, and everything came out hot and super tasty.
The staff was nice and made the whole process easy, even if you’ve never done Mongolian BBQ before. The place was clean and had a nice chill vibe — perfect for grabbing dinner with friends or a quick lunch.

Solid choice for an all you can eat food experience. They have a good selection of Fresh ingredients and plenty of sauce options, allowing for easy customization of your meal.
The process of building your own bowl is efficient, and the cooks on the grill are quick and staff is friendly. The result is a great eating experience. It’s an excellent choice if you’re in the mood for customizable Asian stir-fry. Worth a visit!

Absolutely love this place! The amount of food you get is enough for me for two meals usually…love the selection of what I can put in my noodles. You also get an option to have rice as well…everyone is really nice. Tons of room for parking. Delicious food that I crave regularly!

I live in Grants Pass and work here in Medford. I just discovered this place yesterday and was impressed by the friendliness of Emerald and the speed of service during the lunch rush. I went back again today to try other options for proteins and veggies as well as different sauces. Emerald, again, gave me some of the best customer service I’ve had in the area. I plan on eating here 2 – 3 times each week. The prices are fair to the portion size and everything is super fresh. If you haven’t eaten at Happy Dragon, you’re missing you.

Wanted to like this place but it is hard to. The ingredients are cheap and not flavorful. The pineapple is out of a can, the sauce choices are small. The noodles are cheap and remind me of spaghetti. They want you to only make the sauce in a small bowl “specifically” for it. Out of all the Mongolian BBQ places I have been to this one is the worst. The waitress was nice.

Wonderful to eat there the first 2 times.
Then it turns out they can randomly charge you an extra 5$ for your meal depending on if they feel like it. I made my meal the same way 3x, but on the 3rd time the waitress just decided to charge me an extra 5$ for no other reason than “because”.

Very good food, very fresh and a fun experience! Waitstaff was incredibly nice and very helpful explaining how it worked since it was our first time. Definitely will come back!
