We got take out from Happy Dragon. There were not fortune cookies in our bag so that was disappointing. The soup wasn’t salty enough and was not great. The chicken lo Mein was okay but small portions. The sweet and sour chicken was maybe one of the better things we got. The sesame chicken wasn’t crunchy enough. Overall, not very good but maybe we’ll give another chance.

**location 5868 E 71St Indy 5/30/2023 ** I bought the General Tso’s Chicken lunch combo plate with fried doughnuts/biscuits. The chicken was extremely hard and the rice was very dry. My egg roll was delicious but everything else was a bust. This meal was made to order so there was no reason for bad food. I will not be back here again.

I ordered the Szechuan tofu about a week ago and it was really great! There were a bunch of different veggies and the tofu was cooked thoroughly. It was really, really good. This time, I ordered the same item through door dash and got what looks like an entirely different dish. The tofu is barely cooked and I got peas and carrots instead of all the tasty vegetables from the last time I ordered it. The sauce was cold. My wife and my friends food turned out great, but mine was bad enough I did not eat it. I am not sure what happened between last week and this week. I chose two stars instead of 1 because the two chicken dishes in our order were good and enjoyed. I took the attached photo before tossing it. We had been planning to start ordering from here once a week, but not now. I am very disappointed in my order and will probably choose somewhere else to get my takeout from now on.

Good prices, average/solid food. Good LoMein, and chicken and broccoli with white rice, steamed dumplings, crab Rangoon and hot and sour soup*** delish . Bad bourbon chicken, bad sesame beef. And I’m just not sure what else because I stick to appetizers now and the two entrees above. I heard from others that the general Tao chicken is good and they offer it extra spicy too. You have to ask for the sauces you want because they are not ready accessible, ask for what you need and specify how many. You will get a surprise if not enough sauces. Overall it’s better than a lot of other places, just be careful what you order.

Always order inside the restaurant, food is always hot and fresh to order. Prices have increased unfortunately and they are a little “stingy” with the soy sauce/condiments, but food always tastes great. Have been a customer for years.

Nastiest chicken fried rice I’ve ever tasted. No vegetables and just chunks of boiled chicken. I also asked for my orange chicken to be mild and it wasn’t.

Ordinary Chinese takeout. Not bad. Not great. Small area for dining in. Good takeout option.

Nice Chinese-American food. Good portions. We had General Tso’s Tofu and vegetable lo mein and both were great. The tofu dish had some broccoli but not too much where you feel cheated out of your tofu. Restaurant was clean. Will order again!

Eh not the best grub. It has very good soup and ice cream. The reason why it’s not the best is because no orange chicken!!!! I know that is an American thing but that is like a staple. This place is best with family or friends. Don’t eat here alone. The company is what made this 3 star experience into a four star.
