Delicious! Really good donuts and everyone was friendly and helpful! I bought about 21/2 dozen and then someone brought another 2 dozen to work. All around super good. I really liked their classic glazed. Better than legendary and cheaper. Also the scones and croissant things were delicious as well!

Amazing quality and service all around! After trying another donut shop it said that they were open at 4:30, and walking in to the smallest selection I’ve ever seen I decided to make a quick phone call at 4:32 in the morning to happy donuts. The lady on the phone was so nice and so sweet and when I asked if I could get four dozen donuts with a dozen cinnamon rolls she didn’t hesitate to say absolutely it’ll be ready when you get here. I pulled up in the business was so adorable and when I walked in I was greeted and my donuts were ready and on the counter. I will forever be a repeat customer especially when I need these big orders for business meetings and continue to be a loyal patron here. Thank you so much to the Wednesday early morning staff

This place has the most amazing donuts I’ve ever eaten. The dough is light and airy and they’re nice and crispy on the outside. They have all the standards and there’s not a bunch of nonsense toppings like cereal and candy on them. Not that I’ll pan all of those types but I mostly just want a maple bar or apple fritter. Truly the best donuts I’ve had in my life and they’re a standout in a region well known for quality donut shops.

I have passed by this store many years while traveling through Puyallup city center, and there was almost always a line out of the store. Finally decided to drop by and see what was there. Time was around 2:15 p.m., and there were few customers due to the time of day.

Pillowy, fresh, delicious donuts. Super happy to find a good donut place in my new home town. Beats top pot for sure, quality is lunch better at Happy Donuts. The donuts are moist and flavorful, not dry like others I’ve had. Definitely recommend!

I love Happy Donuts! I commute to work right past Legendary (too cupcake-like) and Dockside (maple bars are too sugary) and will choose Happy Donuts every time. Maple Bars, Chocolate Bars, and old fashioned donuts are the best in the area. Recently I’ve really enjoyed the croissants, filled or not. They are so friendly, quick, and kind.

Been going here since I was in kindergarten, before the current owners and I can say this place has consistently had the BEST fresh donuts for the last 35 years! The quality is impeccable, none of that crisco film left in your mouth or funny lard aftertaste. Opens at 4:00am with fresh, warm donuts waiting for you. No gimmick pastries, just the good stuff but that’s not to say their selection is not broad! Quality ingredients yield more tender, pillowy and flavorful pastries than you can find anywhere else including Krispy Kreme. Top Pot and Legendary Donuts have nothing on Happy Donuts! Staff are kind, welcoming and helpful without fail. Recently added more customer service staff and their capacity has noticeably increased. Do yourself a favor and have the best donut experience in the state! Make sure you get a fritter and ask for the donut holes – if you show up before 7:30am everything in the store will be warm!
