Look up order from Dominic Murphy and Golda Clarissa Arnaldo Dazo (to recognize the name). May 31st wedding cake pickup. Months before our wedding we specified in the email correspondence that we wanted natural flowers on our cake. Then on our wedding day, our cake is without any flowers!
Our wedding coordinator had to pull some fresh flowers on the guest table center piece just to put a little life on our wedding cake.
When we complained to Happy Chicks’ person in charge corresponding with us through email, instead of her owning her negligence, she blamed us when she was the one who didn’t go over the replies we sent them with our specifications. An apology from Happy Chicks would have been a good business practice.

We used Happy Chicks Bakery for our wedding cake, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. First and foremost, the cake was absolutely delicious. We’re not just talking “it looked nice but tasted okay,” either. I’m (bride) not even a huge cake person and loved every bite.
We had about 70 guests (vendors included), and by the end of the night, all ~100 servings of our 3-tiered, 3-flavor cake were completely gone. That’s how good it was. We got so many compliments about how amazing the cake tasted.
On a more personal note, I have a peanut and tree nut allergy, and Happy Chicks was one of the very few bakeries in the area who were not only willing to work with us, but also made me feel genuinely safe. Their transparency, care, and clear communication meant a lot. I never felt like I had to compromise or “settle” because of my allergy. They helped us design a cake that was both safe and stunning.
10/10 would recommend, enough that we plan to occasionally stop by the bakery for cupcakes just to have some again!

Visiting The Queen City from STL and I am always on the lookout for a solid vegan bakery. Happy Chicks does not disappoint. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and helpful (even though it was the end of the day and I’m sure she wanted to get out of there). The Bourbon Cherry cupcake deserves a thumbs up, but it was the olive oil cookie that made me want to turn my car around and clean them out. Not too sweet and the olive oil flavor really shined. A+ guys!

Absolutely delicious croissants!!! Loved my sandwich, and my friend ate hers with strawberry jam. Positively decadent! Crispy, soft, and sweet. Perfect mid day treat. Decently priced as well for how vegan places go. We arrived late, so missed most of the baked goods but, can’t wait to try the scones during my next trip 🙂 <3

We chose Happy Chicks Bakery for our wedding cake and were very pleased with the cake! They use high quality, natural ingredients and make such unique, creative flavors. We decided to have our 4 tiered wedding cake with different flavors: yellow dragon, Marrakech carrot, lavender lime and caramel chocolate stout. In addition, we got cupcakes for these 4 flavors to supplement. Everything was so delectable and the guests loved them! They are very communicative and try to accommodate your requests. I recommend doing a sample taste test so you can decide which of the flavors you like! We had wafer flowers for cake decorations and they added them to our cake. Everything was wonderful, and we highly recommend Happy Chicks Bakery for your wedding and any other events!!

Happy Chicks has the best cakes and pastries I’ve ever had. I’ve been going there since 2017 and have never had a bad experience. The ladies who work there are very sweet and friendly and the whole place just has a nice vibe. The cakes/cupcakes have more subtle flavors, but they’re perfect. If you’re not vegan or only used to very potent and processed flavors, maybe start off with Oliver’s Desserts or somewhere that tastes more “traditional”. I love that Happy Chicks doesn’t use any artificial dyes or preservatives. Everything is so rich and tastes real. I will always come here for birthdays and special occasions. 10/10

I adore this place! Cupcakes in creative flavors, pastries galore, and an awesome food menu. You can pre-order or pick up what’s available that day, or eat in at the cozy cafe. And their wedding service is amazing! They provided about 200 cupcakes for my big day, and I couldn’t have been happier with the quality and service. And, of course, the whole place is vegan. If you aren’t vegan, I promise you’ll never notice. If you are, I promise you’ll never want to leave!

Vegan baked goods tend to fall into one of two categories. They’re either 1.) amazing or 2.) “I’ll eat it because it’s in front of me and it’s vegan.” Happy Chicks cupcakes fall into the second category. I’ve tried their products several times over many years and I keep on hoping it’s going to be different but it never is. I don’t know they use bananas or flaxseed as binder but the cupcakes are way too dense and kinda bland.
