Delicious!! Try for yourself support a new small business!! This is our 2nd time ordering in the same week ☺️ I saw the reviews on the spring rolls so I gave them a try…very crispy and not greasy. We ordered the Combination plate of general gaos chicken with chicken finger and crab Rangoon… hot fresh food… the rangoons actually have crab meat that you can see instead of of just cream cheese lol. I love the 4 options they have for same price : pork fried rice/vegetable fried rice/Vegetable lo mein/ or chicken lo mein rather then your typical pork fried rice that comes with combination plates . I appreciate that because I always pick the pork out of my rice. I love vegetable fried rice. lol You can tell they put a lot of love into their food. And very nice when picking up. The inside is very cute. Next time I will dine in. And that I mention they put in a complementary soup. They must’ve noticed us coming back so quick and gave us a gift. 5 stars!

Visiting Manchester and craving Chinese food, we were happy to find this newly opened spot. The restaurant is nicely renovated with an open, clean kitchen, which was great to see.
We ordered the Mongolian Bomb, which come with shrimp, chicken, beef, and fresh veggies and the Traditional Ramen with very tender beef and plenty of greens. The Pupu Plate was HUGE!!two of us couldn’t finish it and took leftovers home.
Friendly service, big portions, and tasty food. We’ll definitely come back!

Maya and Chu are AMAZING!! This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had. Their food is fresh, hot and delicious! The pride they take in making food and serving customers is second to none! The egg noodle soup, steamed buns and egg rolls are my favorite! Served with love – not grease (like most Chinese food) and smiles that will fill your heart!

Happy Chef on Kelly Street is a wonderful new addition to Manchester. It’s a small, cozy spot that’s mostly geared toward takeout, though they do have a few tables if you’d like to eat there. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed.
We ordered spring rolls, crab rangoon, Mongolian beef, and vegetable chow mein — everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was quick without feeling rushed.
The restaurant is run by a small team — the cook and owner was working hard in the kitchen, and Maya. Both were friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. Great food, great prices, and genuinely nice people. I would definitely recommend Happy Chef and will absolutely be back.

Maya and Chu run a lovely new Chinese restaurant here. They take great pride in the food they cook here, as well as the service. Somehow, the food is always prepared very promptly, and the quality is top-notch. I particularly enjoy the homemade steamed buns and the egg noodle soup, which is a massive bowl of flavors, including everything from tomato to ginger. All the portions are hearty and made fresh to order.
If you haven’t tried this restaurant, be sure to stop by or put in an order.

I have had takeout from here twice and I haven’t been disappointed once! The food is good quality, fresh, and not greasy! I don’t feel like absolutely trash after eating it. The staff that work here are so kind and helpful as well. What a great addition to the West side!

Tired this joint out today. Just moved close by and hoping to find good Chinese take out. The menu is simple and put together well. The ordering was a piece of cake. Upon arriving the hostess/cashier was very friendly. That being said the food was very good. The General Gaos chicken was absolutely delicious. The appetizers with the meal were also delicious. I will say the chicken lo mein seemed to be missing an ingredient or maybe needed more. I dunno. Over all very happy with the happy chef.

SO SO good. Highly recommend th Mongolian bomb we got a side of lo mein (plain) to add to it and it was soooooo good. Their crab rangoons, chicken fingers and eggrolls are superb! Their beef teriyaki is so tender and flavorful. I ate leftover cold and it wasn’t chewy AT ALL!

Decided to try this place out on a whim – I ordered enough food for the whole family (beef lo mein, pork fried rice, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, coconut shrimp, crab rangoons, and spring rolls) and it was all amazing. It has been a long time since I’ve had good chinese food in NH (most chinese takeout here is rather bland) – this place is doing it RIGHT. They’re fairly new, small and unexpecting looking from the outside, but the inside has a nice vibe. We didn’t eat in but took the food to go. I would highly recommend this place, it is now going to be my go-to for chinese. I cannot express enough how thrilled I was with the food. I’ve tried almost every chinese restaurant in Manchester and Concord in my quest to find a good or halfway decent one and this one hands down takes the cake. Honestly it’s the best chinese takeout I’ve had here in NH. Keep up the good work, don’t change anything!!! Give me thanks to the chef. (Sesame chicken was my favorite)

My parents came up from Florida and wanted good Chinese. We use to live outside of Boston and would venture in to Chinatown from time to time and I use to go often after the club once I turned 21. Happy chef far exceeded what we thought we would ever find here in Manchester. We sat at a cute little booth and the owner brought out our food hot fresh and she was the nicest person ever. She checked on us a few times and even brought us some pineapple fried rice to try, which was out of this world. The crab Rangoon was phenomenal, the fried rice and lo mein were packed with flavor and the chicken was tender and juicy. Everything was cooked to perfection and nothing was overly greasy. This is the only Chinese restaurant I ever want to eat at again!
