I tried this place two times. First time, I got a salmon bowl and boneless chicken. The breading of the chicken was not good quality, quite soggy, but the salmon was fine. Did not really like it, but I figured to give a second chance.. unfortunately I cannot give anymore chances. I got hibachi rice with tofu, and the quality again was low. I don’t want to accuse that it wasn’t fresh but noticeably, you could tell something was wrong with the rice and the tofu, especially in smell, taste, and texture. I tried to stomach through it but I just couldn’t anymore, in fact it had left me feeling sick afterwards. I appreciate there is a good portion given, but I wish the food quality could make up for it. I would hate for anyone else to get sick too.

The bendo Box is worth the price! Got that today and it came with chicken, rice, vegetables, kimchi, two spring rolls, and three gyoza. I really liked the gyoza especially since it’s chicken. Now the vegetables were okay, the broccoli wasn’t completely cooked but some people like that. The spring rolls were good and crunchy. But, my biggest problem was the boba pearls. I’m sorry, but the pearls were not good. Wayy too mushy, but the milk tea itself was pretty average and I’m not upset about that. I would suggest not getting boba pearls
I definitely recommend the chicken gyoza though 6 for 6$, not bad.

I was at Happy Bowl in Greensboro, NC today 12/11/25. I have never been so disrespected or rudely treated as I was by the manager, Ling. I ordered an item from the menu, including a beverage which totaled $24. Upon re wilt of my food, it was totally nasty. I asked Ling is she could make me another plate of something of the same value. She nastily said “No”. I was denied food and a refund.Another patron ordered me food and paid for it So I returned the first plate uneaten but paid for. The manager, Ling, definitely needs some customer service training!!! I will never patronize Happy Bowl Greensboro again and neither will the other people that were with me. When I tried to ask other employees questions, they seemed intimidated by Ling.

First time I ordered here a few months back the food was incredible, but today I ordered 2 egg rolls with my meal and they were undercooked, second layer of the roll was raw, and everything inside was wet and runny. I called and the manager was very nice and offered to give me 2 for free delivered to my address, however those weren’t much better, still very undercooked. 3/5 because their main courses are very good and I appreciated the attempt to solve the problem. But I definitely wouldn’t recommend the egg rolls here. I added pictures where you can see how wet and raw the inside is. First 2 pics are first order, 3rd pic was when they delivered them to me again.

A very good restaurant serving up Asian flare. Meals were packed with food. Really liked the eel dish; it was nicely seasoned. Lots of eel and rice, felt good about that. The pork bao was so good. Loved the sweet bun and tasteful pork. Grilled perfectly. Throw on a fried egg.. and bam, ties it all together.

The food was absolutely tasty and affordable. The prices weren’t too far up there and you can get your food without having to wait for a long time. Their bubble tea is decent but they’re rice bowls are really good. I would definitely come here again because it’s convenient and yummy.

We came here for the Bao and all of the options sounded good. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. The buns were a perfect texture and the fillings were full of flavor and decently portioned. We will be back.

Hidden gem in Greensboro if you’re looking for authentic Chinese/Taiwanese flavors. Taiwanese popcorn/crispy chicken was on point and the guabao was delicious. Many of the menu items reminded me of Taiwanese night market favorites. Instead of being just another run of the mills Asian establishments, I can see the owner spent the effort to bring out their roots using fresh ingredients.
Great place to hangout with thoughtful outlets strategically placed at every booth. Will visit again!

As its name suggests, this counter service restaurant serves up a broad menu of rice, salad, noodle bowls, Chinese baos, hibachi, burritos, and quesadillas with your choice of fillings.
We tried bowls with the Thai chicken, which was small cuts of seasoned meat, and the Kari chicken, which was like tempura Chicken bites.
For the same price $8.50-$8.75, the bowls were definitely better values than the kimchee noodle bowl, which had egg and cheese, but no other protein and the noodles seemed like instant ramen. The “spicy Korean soup” that came with it was too spicy to drink and also seemed suspiciously like it came from instant ramen.
The tapioca boba in the bubble milk teas were too soft. Maybe they’re better earlier in the day. The red bean milk tea was too sweet and tasted artificial.
