Oct ’25: Finally found some time to revisit this gem, to try out the Linguica and Tocino. Ordered the Linguica Fried Rice and it was marvelous but my mind was really really blown on trying the Tocino Fried Rice. I didn’t think i would love this even more than tapa/logsilog but it was absolutely stupendous! 10* food+service!

Aug ’25: Had this place on my to-go list for a while and was finally able to visit it at closing time on a Wednesday around 2pm, right as they were about to pack up. The timings of HapaPino are 10am-2pm, hence scheduling was the biggest reason why i couldn’t visit earlier. With their dishes being specifically Filipino breakfast/brunch items the timings are completely understandable. Although, after having tried them, i wish i could chomp on their delicious grub during dinner times as well.

On this hot Wednesday afternoon, while i waited in the shaded seating area, for my order of tapsilog with longanisa on the side, i received a request from a dear little gremlin to grab something for her as well. As the timing of this aforementioned request coincided with the gentleman serving me my previously ordered food, i hesitantly passed on the request since this was well past their closing time. But the folks here, fired up the grill again at my behest and were happy to oblige. I sincerely appreciate them doing this for me, despite not knowing that i had wanted to visit them for a long time, and had pulled an all nighter to make this visit happen. Full marks for service.

I didn’t grab utensils so that i could keep myself from eating it before reaching home, but as i was waiting for my late order of breakfast sliders with spam and longanisa to show up, the tapsilog beckoned me like the rings in LOTR. As magical corruption ran through my veins and a voice repetitively urged me to open the box and take a peek, i gave in to its power and took a peek quickly followed by a couple of chomps of the tapa, after checking that no one was noticing my transgressions. The gremlin must not get to know.

Luckily, before i could completely surrender to this corruption wrought upon me by this tapa, with my grubby little hands, the order of sliders magically appeared with its bearer in tow. I quickly came back down to earth and managed a full-hearted compliment for the tapa, before scurrying away towards my motored chariot.

To make a long story even longer, the tapsilog was absolutely amazing. So was the longanisa. The rice, the creamy fried egg with its soft centered runny yolk, the crunchy garlic, all complimented the meats very gracefully. The tapa was cut in small pieces, reminiscent of burnt ends and had a nice sweet char on it. The longanisa were cute looking sausage pieces that were sweet and savory and absolutely delectable. The experience left me wondering why it took so long for me to try it out. While i can’t rate it for its authenticity, i can rate it for its taste as a first time enjoyer, since i fell head over heels for silog bowls. The combination of items and the taste was undeniably incredible.

The breakfast sliders containing spam and longanisa were also really cheesy, gooey and creamy, reminiscent of the savoriness of a brunch but immaculately packed between two slices of slider buns. My personal preference would be to have it with more of their sauce on it next time, or adding some sort of acidity to cut through the richness of the bite, and maybe even add a little bit of greens for color, nutrition and rounding out the dish. But enjoyed the sliders as well, they were very filling, delicious and appropos for the breakfast/brunch theme.

Another great thing about the dishes were that they traveled incredibly well on my ride back home. The sliders did not fall apart and the silog bowl was also virtually undeterred.

Not only will i be coming back for more, but I am also interested in trying the tocilog and the Portuguese linguica sausage next. Folks who are on the fence, should come out and try it too. You wont be disappointed.

Warning: Stay away from the tapa please, it will beckon you in your dreams!

Went for the first time and got he silog bowl with marinated beef. So good, great flavor and they had it ready for me super quick. It’s definitely enough for two meals, I’ll be coming back soon!

HapaPino is such a nice little gem. The menu isn’t very large but that lets them focus on making delicious fried rice. I got the spam fried rice for my first try and it was some of the best I’ve had. I also bought their HapaPino sauce bottle to take home. So glad I did. One of my new favorite sauces to top stuff with. Try it yourself if you are looking for a great place to get fried rice.

We had chicken fried rice and Silog Bowl with Longanisa Sausage. The sausage was sweet and very delicious. Currently, they are only open from 9am to 1pm on Thursdays and Fridays, so it’s hard for me to find the time to come, but I’d like to try other dishes as well.

Growing up with Filipino friends their food has a special place in my heart. This reminded me of the breakfasts my best friend and I use to have all the time. I bought the Silog Bowel with Tapa and a side order of Longanisa. Definitely coming back, excellent friendly and service!

Place is phenomenal. Every time I’m back home I always make a point to stop by. Usually get there right as they open and I have my food in less than 5 minutes. That tocino chicken???? Crazy. So good my mom thought it was pork.

This spot is amazing! The 2 guys who run the truck are awesome! Always have great energy and service! The food is a fantastic fusion of Hawaiian and Phillipino! My go to’s were always the spam sliders, or breakfast burrito. Both amazing. I love the garlic fried rice( very garlicy in a good way) as well as, probably every kind of meat they have. Everything is amazing. They have always been there when the hours say they are open and I have even had the chef run my food out to me, when he saw me pull up!(I am a delivery driver, so time matters) The hapapino sauce he created is out of this world! I always ask for extra because it is that good. I hope they start selling this sauce by itself. Sadly, I don’t work in Beaverton anymore, but I will be making weekend trips out there just for the food . The only thing I don’t like about this food cart is that, everything is so good I have a hard time picking what I want. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You’ll likely be addicted.

Delicious, savory breakfast. SO SO GOOD! For starters, the staff is unbelievably friendly and kind. They were thorough in explanation and were so thankful for us first timers stopping by! My boyfriend has a rare food intolerance, and they were very accommodating, which is so refreshing. We got two silog bowls, one longonisa, one Tocino, and the sliders! For starters, the slider is DELICIOUS. The sweet tangy sauce with the egg, savory meat, and fluffy roll is the perfect little breakfast bite. The silog bowl is rich and delightful. The rice is GARLICKY and Salty and combines beautifully with the sweet tocino chicken. The egg and sauce just really tie it all together. You have to get a side of sauce! It’s super filling, I could barely finish my bowl, but I already know it will make for great leftovers, and we will DEFINITELY be back!

I’m glad that I finally got a chance to try these guys out. They have some really really good Filipino and Hawaiian comfort food. I ordered the breakfast burrito with Portuguese sausage, silog bowl with the loganisa (also got a sample of the beef), and fried rice with chicken tocino and spam. All three items were delicious and definitely filling! My favorite has to be the fried rice. The chicken is flavorful and the addition of spam made it even better.
