Finally had a chance to try after being recommended from family and friends. Best part was I finally felt like I got my moneys worth. Portions were plentiful and tasted amazing. Very flavorful and authentic. Had a decent bar worth draft beer choices. Can’t wait to return and try other menu items.
Edit. Came back for more a few weeks later. Singapore noodles is now my favorite. Got it extra spicy and had a really good kick and tons of flavor with a variety of proteins. Huge servings!

I was recently craving good Chinese food and a friend recommended Hao Hao Leander. Food, service, and drinks were excellent.
The orange chicken here is probably some of the best Ive ever had. Apparently their secret is the wok! Everything is made to order with fresh ingredients with an attention to detail that is hard to find at that price point.
It was so nice to have a nice meal out without breaking the bank, but still enjoying quality and a nice ambiance. 10/10 will be back soon!

We’ve ordered multiple times with great food and service, however our Valentine’s Day order was very displeasing ,and I don’t say that lightly. They did not honor the Bogo deal that we had called earlier in the day to confirm it was and served Pad Thai that was not only too salty to eat, but lacked the pad Thai flavor. It also had no peanuts or lime wedge toppings. I’m not sure what happened tonight, but our dinner was very subpar….

Time for a Senior Citizen review of a new restaurant in Bar W. Ranch.
We went to Hao Hao for lunch recently and if I could give 6 stars for service I would. The food was spot on for us and the service by excellent and Sara was superb. My better half has a food allergy to anything with pineapple or pineapple juice and she and the manager made sure to tell us and check. So they subbed a dipping sauce and made sure the kitchen did not put it in her dishes.
We got the fried won ton’s and calamari as appetizer treats and both were very tasty and good size portions.
We got the lunch specials also, misses the orange chicken and me the General TSO’s. We also did the fried rice for $1 more each. The fried rice was good but could have used a bit more vegs in it. But the Orange and General TSO’s were spot on and the portions were very large for a lunch special. We ended up taking a full portion meal of both home as it was so much.
Both of us are in our mid 60’s so this review is based on that and our experiences over the years. We are just looking for value and a good meal. Nothing super special food wise is required for me to give a good review. Also if something is not up to snuff I always say so.
But we both give Hao Hao, Leander location a thumbs up and 5 stars. Also if you get Sara expect great service as she strives to truly please her customers and it shows.

The restaurant has a casual, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating for small groups, families, or solo diners. The interior is clean and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. Every bite tasted fresh and authentic, showing that the kitchen takes pride in quality.
The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal. Orders came out quickly, even during the busy lunch hour, which was impressive. Prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous.

I really like this restaurant. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. This is chicken sesame, I always add an extra steamed rice. Price is good.
Parking is easy, good AC, Wi-Fi, clean place, and fast service.
Something to improve: Get some wireless POS, people don’t like to see you take their credit cards.

Went in for lunch today with a friend, I’m currently on the Daniel Fast and asked if I could have a veggie broth and vegetable soup. Phoebe, the owner, is extremely kind and accommodating, and had the kitchen to make me a bowl of soup! The soup is AMAZING! My friend ordered the Mongolian beef with right rice, both our orders came out hot and fresh! The service is amazing, and I will be going back to try more items on their menu!

Went to Hao Hao today for the first time with my partner and little sister. We ordered a lunch special (available til 3) with fried rice and general tsos chicken, comes with a hot and sour soup but we upgraded to an egg drop. For appetizers we ordered the ribs, calamari, steamed dumplings, and crab wontons. I also had a wonton soup.
EVERYTHING was beyond good it completely shocked all 3 of us. The only thing we didn’t like was the fried rice, so we told our server Kyland and he immediately understood, spoke with the kitchen, and came back to give us a discount and apologized and reassured the kitchen was making a new batch. Other than that, the chicken was tasty and not spicy at all. Came out fresh and hot with two broccolis for the lunch portion.
This place has enough appetizers to make you feel like you’re ordering tapas or small plates and can definitely leave feeling full and satisfied just based on the apps.
The calamari was by far the best I’ve ever had. Completely different than what you would typically see in an Italian restaurant. Here the flavor is smokier and topped with green onions (the perfect amount). The crab wontons were proportioned perfectly with the filling and crust. The sweet sauce paired well with it. The steamed dumplings were pork (only option for meat, but you can order pan fried instead) and had great flavor. That one came with a dumpling sauce that elevated the taste without overpowering. The ribs were amazing. Cooked perfectly and seasoning was so tasty. Soups came with dry crisps to top off and they came out before our other dishes which was perfect timing to us having soup, then apps, then our entree. I had a Thai tea and it wasn’t the best or the worst, but the food made up for it. Appetizers all came with 4 pieces each dish. Pictures were taken after we started eating, it was that good!
When you go, ask for Kyland! He was so attentive, communicative, friendly, and patient. Cleaned our table every time we finished a plate, made sure our glasses stayed full, and checked in on us the perfect amount of times. We will definitely be coming back with more of our family and we’re so excited that there’s a good Asian restaurant so close to us in the area!

So excited to finally have a Chinese food restaurant in the area. I’ve been a fan of Hao Hao in Round Rock for years. I know some have posted about them having a rough start but we visited over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Service was quick and the food was delicious. We loved the chicken lomein and sesame chicken. I think they may be going through some growing pains but this will be a solid option for takeout for my family in the future. Seating inside is limited so you may need to wait if you want to sit down to eat. Otherwise, this is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene in this area and I’m looking forward to delicious Chinese takeout from Hao Hao again soon.

Went there for a dinner on Sunday, place is not big and not that busy. Food served within less than 10 minutes without delay. Food is not authentic Vietnamese, there menu have some Singapore menu items as well. Portions are big enough for each. Prefer going back again.
