We went in for a drink and some pool and we got just that. Drinks were great and the pool table we played on was standard. Super chill atmosphere. Had a good time, and the pool table was only 50 cents!?

Heard so many good things about this place. I got gizzards and joes. Joes were ok. Gizzards were so dry and overcooked I couldn’t chew them. Husband got wings and joes. 2 of his joes were empty. Fried mushrooms were soggy. A friend got a margarita. The mix was rotten. Bartender apologizedafter she drank it! Her wings looked good though. I will never ever go there again. It took about an hour to get our food. We were the ONLY ones eating. There were 4 at the bar drinking. I hadn’t eaten anything since. We went on Saturday afternoon. By Sunday morning I was sick. And no I didn’t drink! So no I would not recommend this place. Not sure if it was just an off day or what happened. But our food definitely sat around under a heat lamp for 30 plus minutes before we got it.

I have gone here several times throughout the years. The JoJos have always been consistent, with different cooks last year sometimes the chicken was too salty at times. But overall I’ve had good experiences. They never forget the sauce , on certain days the wait times can be longer than others but the last 4 times I’ve gone the chicken has been great. The customer service is always friendly enough when I go. I do try to keep this place to myself lol like my hidden gem but it’s my go to for lunch or dinner for my family. It’s definitely affordable also.

Nice lil dive with a fun menu. Hotdogs, gizzards fried chicken, calamari, potatoes 3 ways, and lots more! Heads up , they DO NOT SERVE HARD LIQUOR. Only beer and fountain drinks. They open at 10am and grill hot by 10:30!

This was my first and believe me when I tell you it won’t be my last time at Han’s Place Tavern. I came in there on a Friday (10/10/25) around noon. I had a taste for some real chicken wings not the commercial ones. So, I googled good local wing spots and Han’s Place Tavern came up first top choice. I’m so glad people posted picture of their wings. I went there and the place was spacious and clean. My only gripe is that their jukebox doesn’t take debit but that’s small. I ordered their 6pc wings and JoJo chunks with an Arnold Palmer. I appreciate the hostess, bar tender, and cook Michelle telling me to be careful because the food was hot HOT!! Like fresh out of the fryer hot and she was not lying I had to wait about six minutes just to get a Jojo chunk.
When I did get one OMG they were seasoned just right and their wings WAS PERFECT!!! They were fried hard meaning the skin was crispy. The wings were perfectly seasoned as well and the Arnold Palmer was amazing. When Michelle told me “I definitely know how to make an Arnold Palmer.” She told me right then and there she knows what she’s doing and she did because the Arnold Palmer was palming baby. It was so good I asked her to make me another. As I paid for my food, I told her I will definitely be back again and I meant that. Michelle, DON’T CHANGE A THANG WHEN YOU FRYING THEM WANGS!!!

Cute little dive bar! I asked what was good and the regular patrons didn’t disappoint. So I got me fried chicken and jo Jo’s. The food came out nice and hot so i was warned. No lukewarm stuff here. The waitstaff told me it would take half an hour. Service was good I got checked on. Very friendly atmosphere. Since I am from Tacoma it is my type of down home place. A place you could kick your shoes off and relax. Throw some money in the jukebox, play some pool and kick back!
