I can not recommend Hansik Town enough. I came here for the first time six months ago, and it was my first time trying Korean food. Ever since, I’ve been addicted. I’ve been to other Korean restaurants in the metro area, but none of them have been able to compare to Hansik Town in flavor or value. I find myself continuing to come back. I’ve had several different dishes here, but the standouts to me are the hot stone bibimbap and the kimchi pancake. Talk about a flavor explosion. The homemade side dishes are excellent with some of them rotating and the staples being constant in the spread.
The service here is excellent and is one of the reasons I keep coming back. They were so informative on my first visit and taught me a lot about Korean food in that first visit. Six months later, they still answer all of my questions and are happy to provide a recommendation too. The food also comes out on a robot which is pretty neat.
Overall, I can’t recommend Hansik Town enough, and I plan to keep going there often!

The woman who helped us was very friendly (possibly the owner?) and the service was great. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we really felt generously taken care of. We’d love to come back and try more dishes next time!

This is my second visit with my wife. This time we had 순두부찌개 and 비빔밥. My wife has a high standard for Korean food and this is her favorite spot. They offer a variety of 반찬 and the staffs are friendly. We will be coming back for more.

Stopped by for a Sunday lunch. The dining space was clean and cozy. Service was friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking and some vegetarian options.
I ordered grilled LA beef short ribs. The dish was delicious. They served a good amount of banchan side dishes and I enjoyed all of them. Dishes were delivered by robot.

This was the best Korean food I’ve had so far in the States. The side dishes were excellent — simple, light, and refreshing. We especially appreciated the pickled chilies, a special treat offered by the server, who delivered attentive, warm, and truly exceptional service throughout our entire meal.
All the appetizers and entrées we tried were outstanding, delivering bold flavors without being overly seasoned. The Kimchi Pork Rib Soup was a highlight. Instead of tasting only of kimchi, the broth had a layered, well-rounded flavor, likely enhanced by additional ingredients (I was tasting a hint of tomato paste?) making it more complex and very appetizing. The Bibimbap and Kimchi Pork Pancakes were also delightful in texture and flavors, and had nice presentations. Portions were generous.
Overall, an excellent dining experience that showed great care in both cooking and hospitality. Too bad we discovered this place in the last day of our Portland trip.

First time eating from here and it was to-go carry out. We ordered the Japchae, Bibimbap, and Tteokbokki and WOW completely blew us away with his delicious the food was STILL HOT after the drive home. The containers the food comes in are high quality with no worrying about leaks or spills which is a plus, staff was friendly when I arrived and the place was moderately busy. This place is a must stop by or order out!

So many banchan!! Not a lot of korean restaurants in town offer banchan, let alone several different ones. I really like their cucumber kimchi. Bibibap is ok, not bad but taste similar to other places. Kalbi has good flavor and well seasoned. The kimchi stew is very hearty, good combo flavor when with rice, a little salty if eating by itself. The seafood pancake was really good but be aware it has A LOT of onion, if you don’t like onion, make sure to request it without onion. Price isn’t cheap but worth it

Honestly some of the best Korean food my mother and I have had in awhile! Their side dishes were all homemade and delicious, their sauces/seasonings were amazing! They also give you a lot of food, so the prices are definitely worth it! We ordered 3 dishes for 2 people and have plenty leftover! Great service and super friendly staff! You can buy any of their side dishes to take home as well!
EDIT 2/10/2026: I brought my best friend here, and this place is still wonderful. The food is delicious, and portions were perfect. I bought another container of my favorite side dish! Definitely reccomend 10/10!!

I can be a picky eater but my partner wanted to check out this place so we went here!
It wasn’t busy at all and we got seated very quickly. Shortly after ordering, the food came out quick. I have to say the food was delicious. I had no complaints at all with everything we ordered. The steam egg’s texture was very unique compared to other Korean places we’ve gone to and delicious. The udon noodles w/ seafood were tasty and well seasoned. We also ordered soup that came with a good kick. Our server was very sweet and friendly. Good vibes all around.
I honestly was shocked there wasn’t more people here because as soon as people discover this place, I wouldn’t be surprised at how busy they will get. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants delicious Korean food.
The only thing missing was soju and that’s in the works!

I’ve been here three times now on different occasions. As a chef, I’m a bit of a food snob. The service here is fantastic, people care about the quality of food and experience.
