This late night Korean food in Oakland was much needed after our time at Lake Merrit.

We especially loved their galbi and spicy pork with cheese. We even took an order to go of the pork!

It’s a good place to hang out for late night eats and vibes.

Great Korean restaurant! Very juicy and crispy spicy garlic fried chicken, perfect with beer! Cheese pork has a strong milky flavor, which is delicious with spicy pork! The sauce of seafood pancake is sweet! I ordered fried rice, which I made into balls by myself and dipped in the sauce of spicy chicken feet, which is really delicious! The spicy chicken feet are very rich in flavor, but spicy, and the meat is very tender! The waiter is very nice and gentle! A perfect dinner, I will come again next time!

A very cute Korean place with good vibes. The menu has a wide variety of food, Korean stew, fried chicken, and even marinated raw crab. Price is very reasonable given that the portion is quite large, it is recommended to visit this place as a big group so you get to try more food.

They also open till late, so it will be a pretty good spot for those who want some late night food and drinks.

I was craving spicy marinated crab so badly lately — and I can’t believe I found such a gem so close to home after living here for a year!

Their spicy marinated crab is amazing: super fresh, soft, and flavorful. Wrap it with rice and seaweed, or just mix it into a big bowl of rice — it’s heaven.

We also tried their Hanshin Dakbal (spicy braised chicken feet), pork mozzarella cheese fondue, and sweet & spicy fried chicken. Everything was delicious, well-cooked, and full of flavor.

Definitely one of my new favorite Korean spots in Oakland. Can’t wait to come back again!

It’s a Korean restaurant with variety of hot pot, fried chicken and bowls.
Service was OK. Staff was responsive.
Indoor seating with booths and tables.
Ambient is a bit KPop style with KPop show playing on big screen with nice music. Ambient can easily get laud.
Food was not as expected, bowls were so sweet watery, no ingredients, tasteless. Classic Fried chicken was so oily, fatty low quality meat. Items are very expensive. Just check the menu! For sure you can get better food else where!
None (group of four) could finish their meal despite starving. We ended up MacDonald opposite street for a bite to just change the taste!
They seem to play up the game much ahead of tariff/inflation hit! Understand it’s a chain reaction and their cost might have gone up too and sorry for businesses 🙁

Grilled Whole Squid: The portion was huge—it caught my attention. The flavor was super rich and deeply marinated. It’s that kind of chewy squid that still bites clean.
Hanshin Dakbal (Korean Spicy Chicken Feet): fall-off-the-bone spicy chicken feet. The heat really hits if you’re into spicy food—you have to try it! (And don’t worry, if you can’t handle spicy , they provide clear soup to dip and balance it out!)
Sweet & Spicy Boneless Fried Chicken + Fried Rice Cake: The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It’s sweet and spicy in flavor (but really not spicy at all!). The rice cakes were a surprise—crispy outside but soft inside, nothing like the usual sticky kind I don’t like. What’s amazing is that they still taste good even after sitting for a while!
Bulgogi Hot Pot: The sweet-savory balance was just right, and yes—you can drink the soup! Inside were beef and mushroom glass noodles, super tender and flavorful.
DIY Rice Balls: These were so fun to make! You mix and shape them yourself. They give you tons of crispy seaweed that smells incredible once mixed, plus a generous drizzle of mayo—rich, savory, and satisfying in every bite!
P.S. Looks like their soy marinated raw crab is a signature dish, but unfortunately we don’t eat raw seafood, so we skipped it. If you like it, definitely go for it! This place is close late too, perfect for drink soju and late night dinner with friends.

Such a gem for late-night Korean food in Oakland!
Came here with friends around 9pm and the place was still buzzing—feels just like a Korean street pub, super laid-back and cozy. Great spot to hang out, chat, and eat way too much food (which we totally did).

We ordered a bunch of dishes and honestly loved them all:
• Yangnyeom Chicken – Whole fried chicken, not just wings or legs! Super crispy outside, juicy inside, and smothered in that sweet & spicy Korean sauce. Addictive.
• Spicy Chicken Feet – First time trying Korean-style chicken feet and I’m hooked. Soft, flavorful, with a good spicy kick.
• Grilled Squid – Came out sizzling on a hot plate. Charred, chewy, and super tasty—like something you’d grab at a night market.
• Bulgogi Hot Pot – Comfort in a pot. Tender beef, glass noodles, veggies, and a rich, slightly sweet broth. Perfect for late-night.
• Clam & Mussel Soup – Light, clean, and refreshing. Great balance to the richer dishes.
• Seafood Pancake – Crispy, loaded with seafood, and even better with the dipping sauce.
• DIY Rice Balls – Fun to make and surprisingly flavorful! Would be great for kids too.

The vibe here is just right—dim lighting, casual but not grungy, and packed with people even late into the night. Definitely a solid go-to for anyone craving Korean food after hours.

Went to Hanshin Pocha in Oakland after work for a Korean dinner with friends — the vibe was great, the food perfect for pairing with drinks, and prices were reasonable. Our server was also, not gonna lie, quite handsome!

Must-try dishes:
• Spicy marinated crab: Comes in spicy and original flavors. Pro tip: wrap it with rice and seaweed like a sushi roll — absolute flavor bomb!
• Grilled whole squid: Super fresh, chewy, and the sauce is so good over rice.
• Beef short ribs: Sweet and savory, thick-cut, and super satisfying to bite into.
• Whole fried chicken: One of the crispiest I’ve ever had — eat it hot! Don’t skip the pickled radish to cut through the grease (their radish is amazing, wish they sold it separately).
• Sides: Fries and fried rice were great value and delicious — $7 and $10!

Parking: You can park on the street, behind the building, or at the T-Mobile plaza nearby for more safety.
