Hansang is a refreshing step above your ordinary local Korean restaurant. If you are looking for something a bit different and noticeably better in both food and experience, this is a great place to go. The prices are reasonable for the quality you receive, and the portions are generous without feeling overwhelming. One of the highlights is the service. The 아줌마 waitress took care of us with the kind of warmth and attentiveness you would expect from family. It had this comforting, almost motherly vibe that made the meal even more enjoyable. The 반찬 were flavorful and well prepared, with a nice variety that felt homemade rather than mass produced. The interior is semi modern, clean, and comfortable without being pretentious. Even the bathroom was clean and well maintained, which says a lot about how they run the place.
Overall, Hansang is worth visiting if you want to enjoy Korean food that feels a little elevated, without paying high end prices. Warm service, good 반찬, and a pleasant atmosphere make it a spot I would happily return to

The staffs were friendly, the server seated us right away when we walked in without a reservation. They asked us if we wanted hot tea or water. There are a lot of seats and also a lot of people. Food is delicious! If you leave a google review, you get a free mini seafood pancake!

Great spot if you want authentic Korean soups and stews. The side dishes (banchans) are tasty (but a bit salty to cater to the american palette). It’s also a tad less casual so it’s a nice spot to say, treat your in-laws or bring guests.

Delicious home style korean food! The grilled eel was a standout, must order. Very good ban chan and tofu soup. Ordered the dinner combo sets which were large portion sizes.

I love their style of braised fish. I came back second time for the same dish. Not your standard Korean restaurant. They serve you your own rice, which is great, but be careful the rim gets very hot! I didn’t realize the portions were huge!!

Authentic Korean Comfort Food at Its Best!
This place absolutely deserves all the great reviews! The food was flavorful, hearty, and clearly made with care. The gamjatang (pork bone soup) was rich, spicy, and packed with tender meat — perfect comfort food. The soondubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) had the right amount of heat and depth, and the grilled mackerel was crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
All the banchan (side dishes) were fresh and well-seasoned — especially the kimchi and pickled radish. The portions were generous, and everything came out piping hot.
Highly recommend, I always come here!

Came here for a weekend lunch, it was relatively quiet and easy to grab a seat. The cod seafood soup was flavorful and well seasoned. Their banchan tastes homemade too.

Our favorite go-to restaurant. We come here all of the time for the comforting, delicious food and the wonderful service. They can also accommodate big groups – we had a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Highly recommend the flounder, mackerel, and all of the spicy dishes. Side dishes are always so good and healthy too.

Solid Korean food with great side dishes :)) We went during dinner time and got the beef bibimbop and dinner combo of eel over rice & kimchi stew!
Quite spacious and good place to come with family!

This place has such a wonderful feeling. You can tell all the side dishes are home made and changed seasonally. My grandparents really likes the food and we come at least once a month! My grandpa especially loves how the food tastes like North Korean style!
