The John Wayne photos on the wall were cool but so was the service. 3 of us walked in but no was interested in helping us. We checked in the bar after 15 minutes, the only staff there was chatting with some of the customers at the bar. We were offered whiskey or water to drink. We choose water and it was hand dipped out of a 5-gallon bucket. The burgers tasted good, the fries were not cooked all the way.

Fun, iconic place to stop while on a beautiful drive. I went from Vernal to SLC almost entirely on back roads and The Hanna Hilton Cafe was quite Unique.
Mercantile, Bar & Cafe. A must stop for eats and a rest. Rooms available, 9 total, shared bathrooms, some with air conditioning. Super comfortable bed but be careful about taking a room above the bar….VERY loud. Really wonderful owners.
Food looked good, friendly and helpful folks, just a fun stop!

Great little spot to grab a bite if you’re in the beautiful town of Hanna. Will definitely stop in again.

Coffee was undrinkable. It was an hour after our order was taken and only one table in a full restaurant had food. When the food finally came, it didn’t look appealing at all (see photo of biscuits and gravy meal. The hashbrowns were slimy. The eggs weren’t scrambled. The biscuits and gravy were cold and tasted like they came out of a can. Staff seemed nice, but were overwhelmed.

Alright everyone, I went on a long drive that led me to Hanna Hilton Cafe. I was on the road for 4 1/2 hours before stopping to eat. I was rather disappointed with the service, it was hardly busy and they just said “go sit at one of tge tables in there” it took them 5 to 10ish minutes and after I got my drink and food there was no checking up on me. But the people around me got that, some was for more water, or a refill on a drink. But not me so I would rate the service 3 stars.

However, the food was pretty good and I loved the decor. For my meal I chose the chicken strip basket with fries, I chose both ranch and BBQ sauce. The BBQ sause was terrible, it was overly sweet with little tang like barbecue sauce is. The ranch is deffidently better and house made, with the fries you have to eat them fast or they will get really soggy which could mean they were not shaken enough to get the excess grease off, but overall about the meal I would say it would be 5 stars but I deffidently dont ever want the pool of grease under the food. The fist picture was my meal, the second is the menue cover which looked awesome and rustic to me. And the third is the decore when you first walk in. Overall, if I could rate it on here I would say it would be 3 1/2 stars. I would only recomend it if you’re in the area, for my expirience, it was not worth the 4 1/2 hour drive from Orem.

Old country diner and bar with decent burgers and good fries. Went on a Friday night really looking forward to homemade pie and they had none, very disappointed.

For many years it was something it just is not anymore. It is real nice to stop and sit. Cool bar and history. The food didn’t taste bad considering my burger half hit the bun and the slice of cheese only half hit my burger. A handful thrown of side lettuce, onion, pickle and condiment packages. 2 cheese burgers and 1 bud light was well over 30$. Host/cook/ cashier was so stupid taking the order that we didn’t trust him to cook our food. It’s too bad. Unless a change is made i can think of 30 people or more that will be eating there own sandwiches in the parking lot while otherwise enjoying Hanna.

We usually love this place , young cook and the biscuit and gravy was as hard as a hockey puck and gravy watered down . Not sure what was going on with the eggs. Only thing good was the bacon. Took back the brisket and grave and came back still hard and gross. Didn’t even take it off the bill. . .
