Based on a recommendation, I popped into Hank’s during my latest trip through Cullman. Overall, I was impressed – as one who prefers local spots to chains. I wanted something light so the tomato bisque and veggie wrap were perfect. Service was very good, perhaps just not as social as I am used to. The atmosphere was great for catching up on some games. Overall, a good experience and I’d like to return. 9/10.

Wonderful place for quick bite and great drinks!! Live bands, bingo and other fun times there. We had our meetings there and they were always very accommodating and wonderful to work with. My son works there and no issues with his schedule for school and sports!@@ love yall !!!

I didn’t like my sandwich as much as I thought I would. I would be open to coming back and trying another sub. The guy who I place order was great. Mellow atmosphere. I enjoyed my company and conversation. It’s spacious and plenty of seating. I went during lunch. I plan to come back in evening for bingo and other activities. My side salad was different. I saw ramen on the salad menu and decided give it a try. Portion was small for a side but enough to get the essence of pepper taste. I’ll be back

We had lunch here the other day and were surprised. The interior was well done and clean. They had a couple of side rooms that looked like they could be sectioned off for an event. The bar is large but also looked inviting. My first visit here and had to look over the menu a few minutes to decide. We had the “hot topic” which is a spicy chicken wrap. It was surprisingly good. It was toasted and all melty kind of on the inside. Spicy yes! We also had the Italian salad which was fresh made and tasted good.
We will be going back. Sit at the bar next time!

Went back for the first time in a while. They were excellent then but they’re still great now. The meatball sub was my favorite, but now they have wedges which is great. I absolutely love this place

Great environment. Always good music and the best dirty Martinis! I heard rave reviews about the burger. It wasn’t as superb as I expected. I’d say it was just an average burger. The muffuletta was wonderful! You don’t come across a really good one often, so it was a treat! My husband is from Wisconsin so he’s a cheese curd fanatic and he approved of the cheese curds appetizer from Hanks. It’s a breath of fresh air for Cullman. Everyone is friendly and hard working and it seems they’re doing a great job taking care of business at this sports bar. The atmosphere decor and theme is on point for a laid back local spot and I love that they keep it clean and how they recruit highly talented artists to perform.

If it is your first time visiting, it is two different transactions. You order food at one counter and drinks (with alcohol) at another. The person taking the food order was VERY RUDE even after explaining it was our first there. The bartender was VERY NICE and did a great job. The food and drinks were good. The person taking the food orders needs an attitude adjustment or needs to find a new job if she hates working in public.

First time trying this place. I got the Reuben with German potato salad and a cup of beer cheese soup.
The potato salad should have stayed in Germany. It was potato with bacon, not a little to no mayo. It may be authentic I’ve never had German potato salad. Nothing against it just not for me.
Beer cheese soup was good and the Reuben was delicious. Although I think these were part of their Octoberfest menu and I believe today is the last day for it.

Really liked their white mac & cheese and their Mouth of the South sandwich was pretty good too, had everything on it. Would definitely eat here again. Looking forward to trying other menu items!

Lots of seating room in a unique atmosphere. Great sandwich , Panini, wrap, salad and soup options. Very reasonable prices. My whole roast beef and small side was $7.79. My son had the Aloha and had great praises for it as well
