I’ve had their 3 hottest flavors. Staff told me I was the first person in a very long time to order their Sando Angry Hot. Incredibly good. Giant piece of tender and seasoned chicken. Crunchy, juicy, and balanced well with their slaw and pickles. Hot enough to make your nose and skin start acting up but not too hot where your skin hurts and breathing causes pain. For spice lords it’s not bad. Comparable to “Code Red” at Wooboi. One of the better options in the region.

I’m from out of town, so I had never heard of Hangry Joe’s before but I’m glad I stopped in! I thought the prices were a little high, but I took a risk because of the good reviews. I thought it was taking a while, but once I realized the size of the chicken portions I totally understood.
The sandwich was both massive and delicious. Their house sauce is very tasty. I will say that the medium heat definitely packs a punch and needed some ranch to cool it down.
The chicken wings were also MASSIVE. Didn’t take any pictures but they were great. If I’m ever back in town I’ll be stopping in again 🙂

Driving back home to Florida my boyfriend and I decided to stop here and grab a bite to eat, this was our first time here and I’m so glad we did. We both got the Mega Sando Combo meal, I got the habanero heat and he got the next one down and boy does it pack some heat. The chicken was super tender and moist and the flavor was on point. The sandwich was so big I wasn’t able to finish it all. I have to give a shout out to Johana for having such a great personality and providing such excellent customer service. Johana you are an amazing person. Keep smiling!

This place is the closest I’ve had to authentic Nashville Hot Chicken.
The spice was hot in the hot chicken, and the chicken was seasoned well. The fact that they have a waiver for the extra hot, I can see why.
The service was fantastic, and the owners (husband and wife) made me feel like this could be a routine spot.
I wasn’t as much of a fan of the fries because they seemed to be breaded, but they were hot even when I came just 30 mins before closing.
The place was clean, including the bathroom, so all in all, it was well worth it.

I went back to this amazing establishment last night. I ordered the chicken sandwich this time in mild with cheese on the side for my fries and let me tell you it was amazing!
The food was perfectly seasoned and hot. It was fresh the breaded fries are 15 times better when you have cheese sauce for dipping.
I am pretty sure they make homemade pickles. If they don’t they certainly taste like they are homemade and are fantastic.
What was more impressive than the food was the service. I experienced a minor issue with my bread being a bit over toasted . In fact, I only brought it to the attention of an owner just so that consistency would be made going forward, but I still enjoyed my sandwich.
The owner asked me if I wanted something else after having completed most of my sandwich I politely declined because it was so good. The owner insisted on making me something to make up for the misstep with the bread, and I must say it is this type of quality control and passion for delivering customer service at the highest level that sets this place apart from others.
Two visits in a total of 14 days and I have officially said this will be a routine spot for me not only because of the chicken, but because of the service.

This place does not skimp on the portions. The chicken sandwich is huge and the tenders look like 2 whole chicken breast cut into 4 pieces. The waffle fries are crispy and the sauce and seasoning is excellent. Be careful with the hot sauce because it will burn you up. They even have the ability to order from a kiosk instead of waiting in line. I will definitely be back to try the wings and I would absolutely recommend this to everyone especially chicken lovers!!

Just got my first order of wings here, and I’m extremely impressed. For starters, the wings were incredibly juicy and tasted great on their own. The spicy soy garlic was delicious, and the buffalo sauce… I lived in Buffalo for 9 years, and this is the first time I’ve had anything that came close. And it was delightful. Will absolutely be ordering again.

I come here religiously but not anymore.Their portions are getting smaller and smaller and smaller and the quality has gone down. I cannot endorse it any longer. If you want a really small sandwich for nearly $9 then you found the right spot. You could have cut back on anything paper towels toilet paper straws the paper bags but you didn’t you cut down on the food. I can’t speak for the other locations.
In response to your reply below I know how big your sandwiches are and that you have two sizes. That’s actually what sold me the Junior was big enough. I stated above in the first four words of my comment “I come here religiously” Don’t appreciate you telling me something that is not true I know how big your sandwiches are that’s why I put a Hot Wheels toy next to it everybody knows how large a Hot Wheels is No thank you your staff should have just offered to make me a new one. I’ll just make them myself at home. This place is trash now go Moe’s smash burger and fried chicken there portions are better quality is better even for the price.

Great juicy chicken with great shake selections.
I tried the tenders with hot spicy level and my wife the loaded fries with mild spice level.
I can handle heat, and the hot was tolerable where you can still taste the chicken and the food. I did need a shake tho (I had the espresso shake) to cool me down lol so will try medium next time.
My wife was good with mild. If you like spicy, I’d say start with medium and work your way up.
Only complaint is the floor or rug by the soda fountain machine had a bad humid odor so I’d recommend the manager/owner to check that out.
I’d still come back though as the food was very good and staff was nice.

This location is fairly new. I stopped in today for lunch. It’s very clean inside and the decor is bright red and black. Hinting that there’s gonna be some kick to the food. Before going in, I did a little research on the spot. It was created by the 2 men who started Sweet Frog. I ordered a number 1 combo. Chicken sandwich and waffle fries. Then, I also ordered a small order of the chicken bites. There are 6 levels of heat. For the sandwich, I did medium. For the bites, I did spicy. After spicy was hot, then Hangry. The food was brought to my table in about 10 min. It was cooked fresh. The sandwich was enormous. The bites were a very large order for being small. Came with their signature Hangry Suace and a side of Maple Syrup. The sandwich had only chicken. Slaw and large cut pickle weres ver, very good. The fries didn’t appear to be salted but were seasoned in a lite mix. Dipped in the Hangry Suace was great. Dippe the Syup tasted like homemade waffles in the morning. As for the bites. Wel, they were fantastic. I drizzled the syrup all over and dipped in the Hangry Suace. It’s definitely a great spot.

The food was pretty good, even the free side dish like pickles, coleslaw and sauce were good too. However, I was not happy for the wings I ordered. I ordered 18 wings, 16 of them were small drumsticks, only two were flat wings. You shouldn’t force me to take the items you overstocked, because I paid the same price as other customers. Please don’t do this again.
