Things didn’t improve from there. When we asked for plates, I said we needed six and got a strange, uncomfortable look, as if that was somehow excessive.
The restroom was poorly maintained no tissue paper, the sink was clogged, and on a snowy day there was no wet floor sign. My kids nearly slipped, which is unacceptable.
Overall, average food, but the attitude made the experience unpleasant. Customer service matters, and here it was the biggest letdown.
Service was quick and friendly, and the place had a good vibe, casual, no nonsense, just good food done right. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving hot chicken.
Highly recommend.
Also, the soda machine was not operating, though we were fine with water. They offered cold bottled drinks at a slight upcharge.
When we called to place a pick up order, we were told they can not take our order. This was very disappointing to be honest.
We placed the order online, which wasn’t easy either. Once we plug in our card details, we weren’t able to place the order.
Once we finally got our food, it was pretty good. Definitely underestimated the spice level. A medium was very very spice. Be careful.
The food it self was really good. Kids enjoyed the loaded Mac and cry. The Korean wings were pretty good.
Even though Nashville style chicken is very common, I would still recommend Hangry Joes.
They need either a warning on their menu that there is no non-spicy option or they need to make their mild selection actually mild.
Being from Indian descent myself, I thought I could handle medium spice. We got one dish which was mild and the other one that was medium.
Mild spice turned out to be medium and the medium spice level turned out to be pretty spicy actually.
My recommendation here would be:
Loaded fries
There is no real mild option here.
That is my only complaint.
Otherwise, the folks who run this restaurant seem like pretty good people. Service is good and food quality is good.
Side note: In my opinion, they could use some more liveliness in the place. I felt like I was sitting in the library when I was there.

The digital menu setup is a bit awkward — it cycles between screens, making it hard to take everything in, and there wasn’t a static menu available to look through at my own pace.
The restaurant was very quiet and I appeared to be the first customer of the day.
I ordered the chicken burger (sando) and upgraded to the meal deal for $4. Visually, it looked fantastic and the flavours were very good. My only minor critique is that the chicken was slightly overcooked, but presentation-wise it was spot on — easily 5/5.
One piece of advice for the restaurant: the glass doors and windows really need attention. They’re the first thing customers see, and while the tables and seating were fine, the glass lets the overall impression down.
