Been here twice. Food was way better the first time we were here but the wait was just as long and there was nobody there. This time I ordered the Mike’s hot honey chicken sandwich and it was very dry. Regular sandwich was great and tenders. The Korean corn dogs were blah i wouldn’t order them again

Would give 3.5, rounding up.

We decided to give Hangry Joe’s another shot after a disappointing experience over a year ago — and I’m glad we did. This time around, we ordered the Mega Sando, which comes with a large chicken cutlet, pickles, cabbage coleslaw, and a creamy sauce.

The chicken itself was moist, flavorful, and definitely a generous portion. That said, the way they present it — with the cutlet hanging way off the bun — gives the illusion that it’s huge. It’s a clever presentation trick, but in reality, it’s just a solidly sized piece of chicken, not the monster it appears to be in the photos. Still, no complaints on taste or texture.

The sauce leaned heavily on a mayo base but worked well with the rest of the sandwich. The simple cabbage slaw added a nice bit of sweetness and crunch, even if it wasn’t anything fancy. All the elements came together nicely, and for the price, it felt like a good value.

Overall, this visit turned things around for us. The sandwich was satisfying, and I’d return based on this experience. Not perfect, but definitely worth a second chance.

Mixed bag. The chicken sandwich I had was massive and absolutely delicious. I ordered it hot, or whatever the second-hottest flavor was. It wasn’t too spicy when eating but unfortunately sat like a ball of fire in my stomach, and I usually have an iron gut. The fries were great. We ordered some Korean nuggets which were overcooked and very under-flavored.

The service was terrible. We were one of three groups when we came in and one was already eating. After 20 minutes, they brought out food for us but it was actually for the other group. Ours came closer to 30 minutes. Only one person working the front so I felt bad for her. The AC was presumably out as they were using large fans and it was about 80° in the store.

My wife said the service is much better at the location she goes to in Montgomery County. All in all the food was good enough that I’d go back and try it again, although maybe sticking to the hot chicken and avoiding the Korean.

Rating isn’t necessarily for dine in. But I did pick up from the interior before.

Chicken first time was good. Large portion. Fries were excellent.

Second time chicken was okay, had the wrap, wasn’t as “clean” as you hope to bite into. More cartilage and bits than less. Fries were still good, but oil seemed like it hadn’t been swapped or cleaned. I would like this to succeed. But it definitely feels like the typical – “let’s open a restaurant, now it’s open maybe not put that much effort into the interior space.” I don’t think it’s always necessarily the staffing but can be management / leadership.

The service is excellent, the food is great, but the music is too loud. If you want to try spicy chicken, order medium, because for me mild doesn’t taste spicy at all. And yes they sell halal food, they said all halal, but better call them before you stop by.

Hangry Joe’s delivers where it counts: the flavor. While the menu has a limited selection of flavors, the taste is spot on and hits the mark. One thing to note is the wing size—they are significantly larger than what I’m used to getting elsewhere, which was a pleasant surprise.

This place is hit or miss. We tried the Sando 1 meal. The chicken sandwiches were overcooked to the point that my wife wouldn’t eat it. Mine was editable, but the edges we were over cooked.
I also ordered 6 wings, and they cooked perfectly. They were delicious. Fries were good, and the fountain drinks and ice all worked and were good.
They have TVs to watch while eating, which we like.
Staff was fine and brought our food to our table.
Not bad. Maybe we just went on a bad chef day.

I dont come here too often, but when I do there’s something always wrong. Always adding random toppings into my drinks when I never gave the say so. Not welcoming, you don’t even get greeted or smiled at …you’re just stared at until you order and even then you still get the awkward blank stare. The cheese here taste like craft Mac n cheese,it’s actually awful. And the spices they use are just a stomach ache!! It tastes like artificial spice, I can’t even put it into words.
Also not to mention, if you do an order online they literally won’t start it until you’ve just got to the restaurant. why is that?

Service is top notch here. Nicest people. Food is good, a little subpar to the other locations in terms of flavor only. I ordered medium spicy and it was barely sprinkled with the spices. However, the chicken was cooked perfectly and was very juicy!! Got the mega sando, can’t go wrong. Would love a little more slaw too but honestly this place is overall very good. Will definitely come back and just ask for more of the medium spice and slaw. That would make it 5* for me.

The chicken tenders and sauce are great! For take out they just take a basket of food and put it in a paper bag. I came home and the paper bags were soggy because of the condensation from the hot food. Also, the syrup cup for the waffles was the size of a teaspoon. May be best to eat in!
