Worst experience ever. My buffalo wings literally was place in a brown paper bag. They forgot my fries. Went back to get them and they were just sitting in the back and was never placed in my bag. Fries were cold from sitting for who knows how long. Order a rice bowl and was received in a tray platter. All the employees had nasty attitudes ! Nobody greeted us when we came into the store. They were only worried about drinking their Starbucks. I honestly don’t think I would be coming to this location again ! !

Five of us came to Hangry Joe’s last night for dinner. We were hungry and curious, and the menu gave us plenty to choose from. What helped was the range of spice levels—they let us pick what felt right, so nothing was too harsh on the tongue. We ordered chicken wings, a mega sando, a chicken wrap, a rice bowl, and a vanilla milkshake to finish it off. All menus used halal meat.
The food was full of flavor. The chicken rice bowl was delicious—tender seasoned chicken with garlic sauce, lettuce, and pickles over warm rice. It was satisfying and felt like a complete meal. The mega sando had a thick, crispy chicken fillet on a toasted brioche bun, and the wrap was fresh with crunchy lettuce and pickle. The wings were golden and juicy, with a peppery heat that made every bite exciting.
The milkshake was a nice way to end the meal—smooth, calm, and comforting. We all enjoyed our orders, and we would consider returning.

If you’re a wing lover, you have to come here! Their wings were huge, and perfectly cooked. And also halal. It came with an amazing variety of spice level. We tried the hot one.

Probably the smallest Hangry Joe’s I have been in. But the place is clean and well lit. Staff is friendly and actually encourages you to order with them rather than the automated system. Food came up quickly and correctly.
Not sure why loaded fries is “slightly different” at each Hangry Joe’s I have been too…
But this store did a great job with their version.
Only went with Hot today. Will have to try Angry on the next visit.
Happy to have a site so much closer to home and where I am already at most of the time.

Amazing experience at Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken and Wings. I’m not a big chicken guy myself so I was skeptical to try this place, but it totally exceeded my expectations. The look of the place gives fast-food vibes, but the food was restaurant quality. Some of the best chicken, seasoning, and sauce I’ve had in a while (I went with their mild seasoning on the Sando sandwich). I’m actually from out of state, and this place was recommended to us by a local. Very happy we decided to check it out. I highly recommend giving it a try!

This place is an absolute dump and a disgrace compared to the Darnestown location. I made the mistake of eating at the Darnestown location first. The good was amazing. I got the Chicken Sando sandwich combo and the food was, hot fresh, with a huge chicken patty that looked just like the menu picture. It was so good I said I’d try the Germantown location because it was closer to my house. The food was cold, it tasted like it was made earlier for another customer and the chicken patty was smaller than Sando jr sandwich. I thought they made a mistake so I gave them another try and it was exactly the same. My 14 year old kid begged me to drive the extra 10 miles to the Darnestown store because even she said the food is nowhere near the same quality. See for yourself order the Sando combo from each location and see for yourself. You will be amazed at the difference. I’ll never go to the Germantown store again. Just plain horrible!!!

I ordered a Mega Sando with “No Heat”—as I always do because I can’t tolerate spice well. However, when I got home and took a bite, I was shocked to find it was made with what seemed to be your spiciest sauce. I truly believed it was an honest mistake—I’ve worked in kitchens before and understand these things happen—so I called and was kindly offered a replacement.
Unfortunately, the replacement sandwich was even worse. The spice level was so intense that I had to double check with a friend, who confirmed it was way too spicy—spicier than the first one. Oddly, all the seasoning was concentrated underneath the bun, so it wasn’t even visible at first glance. I’ve attached pictures for reference.
The reaction I had was not just discomfort—it actually caused my lips to swell up. That’s extremely concerning and completely unacceptable, especially when I made it clear I wanted no spice at all.
I’m sharing this not just for myself, but in hopes that more attention is paid to dietary preferences and allergy sensitivities moving forward. I love your food, but this experience left me upset and in physical discomfort. Do better.
