This place was delicious! I had the Spicy soy garlic Korean chicken combo and it was sooo yummy and the perfect amount of spice! I also tried the banana pudding for dessert which was also delicious and very reasonably priced for the portions you get!

Hangry Joe’s absolutely nailed it! The hot chicken was perfectly juicy with the right amount of heat crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The cider slaw balanced it out beautifully fresh, tangy, and just the right crunch. Every bite hit that perfect sweet-spicy combo. Can’t wait to go back!

Walked in, music, blaring, no employee to be found. Called out a few times and finally someone appeared. Got our order, headed to the car to munch while we drove. First bite of chicken, hair embedded in the seasoning and breading. Toss that one aside and attempted the others, bc we were ‘sat one,’ definitely nasty. Fries were soggy, nothing of quality to report. Definitely overpriced. Especially for the hair in the breading and seasoning in the chicken tender. No napkins, no silverware, no condiments, nothing. From start to finish, our visit to the Dover Hangry Joe’s was nothing short of frustrating.
1. Terrible customer service. The staff made it very clear they didn’t want to be there—let alone talk to customers. Every interaction felt like we were bothering them just by ordering food.
2. Basic order mishandled. We ordered three loaded fries. My sister specifically said no cheese (she doesn’t eat dairy), and we asked for extra sauce. The lady at the counter didn’t give us the extra sauce until I had to repeat myself three times, just to get what we paid for.
3. Major mistake and no accountability. Despite being clear about the no-cheese request, they served my sister’s fries with cheese anyway. When I asked for a replacement, they made us wait an entire hour—meanwhile, the rest of our food got cold. Zero accountability. It’s like they don’t care at all.
4. Portion size is laughable. The “loaded fries” looked like they were made for a toddler. A few bites and you’re done. For the price, it’s an absolute rip-off.

OMG! My sandwich was off the chain delicious. My first visit went smooth and the food was so so so good, I didn’t even want to share with my hubby. My second visit, I wish I would’ve call in my order because it almost caused me to miss my Greyhound bus, I think they need more workers in the Dover Location. When I finally was able to eat my sandwich from that night, all was well. Please don’t ever foul up and change the recipe!!!! I wish, I had a photo to share, I ate to fast.

Like everyone else seeing the posts, I have been waiting patiently for you to finally open. While on a trip down south I decided to take a detour to try your chicken. Was greeted by very friendly staff. They helped me order using the order pads by the door as there was aline at the counter. I ordered a 3 piece ” hot” tender meal. I also ordered an extra Angry hot tender on the side to check the heat level. The chicken tenders were on the small side compared to other hot chicken places. The size was able same as Raising Cane’s. Spice level varied from tender to tender which surprised me. For a minute I thought it was a sampler of the different levels of spice. The spice on the chicken is flavorful. The Angry hot had a nice kick to it. Lady that helped me said they use ghost pepper for the kick. Waffle fries were very good. Hot and crispy. The angry sauce was ok. I will definitely come back to try the sandwich next time. Thought it would be to messy to eat and drive at the same time. Also want to try the Korean nuggets. I recommend you giving them a try. It will be interesting to see once the competition opens in Dover. Who will reign supreme.

Inconsistent with the delivery of food. First day the food was great. I went back the second day and ordered 3 meals. The rice was hard and dry. I called and spoke with an employee who assured me that I’d be able receive 3 meals as a make up. I get to the store today, and the staff acted clueless. The owner stated that she could not help me because i paid for pick up through door dash, which their website prompted me to do. The owner said she “would” offer me 20% off, but she can’t even do that. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Your establishment is responsible for the dry, hard rice that you served to me and my family. I will never order from here again!

I’ve ordered from Hangry’s 4 times now and have never been disappointed. I’ll admit, I’ve gotten the chicken sando (sandwich) each time because its just so dang good. This time I tried the “messy chicken sando” which us the same except the chicken is also coated with smoky BBQ sauce. Yep, it was delicious, too.
I’d also say that you should try the loaded waffle fries. My wife and I agreed, that dish was excellent! Waffle fries, lots of big chunks of chicken, Jalapeño slices, cheddar cheese and hangry sauce.
Word of advice. Go one heat level lower than you think you should. Medium is perfect. Hot begins to taste like pain. Ha!

Food tasted great and they don’t lie about it being spicy/hot. My problem is with the price for the amount of food you get. The sando meal $11.95 (first picture) was really just a chicken slider and some fries. The loaded Mac and cheese (second picture) was great but also a really small portion (regular sized fry basket) for $12.95. Also, we waited for 30 minutes to get our food, there was two DoorDash orders and one to-go order before us, other than that the place was pretty empty. Overall just because of the portion to price issue we won’t be coming back.
