We were absolutely heartbroken when our favorite bingsoo cafe closed, so my friends and I were on a serious mission to find a worthy replacement. Then—by pure luck—we stumbled into Hangout Cafe after dinner next door, and WOW… this place saved us.

They have an amazing selection of drinks—coffee, tea, bubble tea, bubble milk tea, and bubble milkshakes—but let’s be real, I was there for the bingsoo. Choosing was tough because everything sounded incredible, but I went with the strawberry bingsoo, and it was next-level delicious. Light, refreshing, perfectly sweet… 10/10.

The service was fantastic, the cafe was clean and cozy, and there’s even a parking lot (major win). We left already planning our next visit. Safe to say, we’ve officially found our new go-to dessert spot. Cannot wait to come back—HIGHLY recommend!

OMG had a touch heaven on earth when I devoured this decadent Dubai deliciousness. The Hangout has a handcrafted Dubai Chocolate Confection that blew me away. Talk about the perfect balance of sweet and OMG ! Of course we had to wash it down with some freshly shaved Mango Bingsu…and a tall Americano..
Highly recommend and will be coming back for my Dubai Chocolate Confection Cookie fix

I absolutely loved this place! Everything — from the drinks to the desserts — was made with so much care. The bubble tea was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, the waffles were amazing, and the bingsu was light and refreshing the best bingsu in chicago.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their customers. The interior is beautiful — cozy, bright, and thoughtfully decorated. It’s one of those places where you just want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere a little longer.

Such a lovely spot for anyone who loves good drinks, delicious desserts, and friendly service.

This place is seriously the best for bingsu — I’m in love!
The texture, the flavor, everything is just perfect. It’s my favorite spot, and I can’t stop thinking about their bingsu.

Hangout Cafe is our go-to spot whenever we’re craving mango bingsoo, hands down the best bingsoo I’ve ever tried! The ice is perfectly fluffy, the mangoes are always sweet and fresh, and the portion is just right for sharing (or not ).

We’ve also tried their bubble teas and bubble waffles, and both are really good! The drinks are flavorful and not overly sweet, and the bubble waffle is such a fun treat, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

Whether you’re stopping by for dessert or just hanging out (pun intended ), this place never disappoints. Highly recommend for any dessert lovers out there!

Got the Choco Special and the Choco Oreo Bingsoo and they both were okay. The Choco Special wasn’t as sweet and the boba was ok, not sweet like in most places, kinda plain, but it had the right texture. The bingsoo was nice and refreshing but it felt kind of plain since there was so much shaved ice; the mochi bites made it so good but that was the only great part of it. Staff was nice and friendly!

A good place to hang out with friends. Have a coffee or some other drinks. But there are disadvantages, they don’t give takeout boxes if you haven’t finished something. And you don’t really want to throw away waffles for $12.

Tiger sugar latte was a hit! Boba was perfectly balanced and they have tons of alternative milks! My friend swears by the bingsu, so obvi next time, I’m getting it. I also got an iced americano which had an average taste but this medium size was pretty big! Also, the service was lovely and their workers were super nice. Overall, a good boba spot with some tasty gems

Decent coffee place in NW Suburbs of Chicago. The cashiers didn’t seem very familiar with the options they have.
Anyways, we ordered Hazelnut Latte and Hot Chocolate.

Hot chocolate: it was actually good but they didn’t have marshmallows to put in it (which i like).

Hazelnut latte: not my taste, but my loved it.

Good thing was both the drinks were served hot.

They didn’t have comfortable seating. They have metal chairs. Sitting there for 20-25 mins was very uncomfortable.

They have gender specific restrooms. Big area for the cafe and could be improved upon seating arrangement and decor.

Very cute and charming cafe. Not too busy with ample seating and quiet atmosphere. I had the lavender latte and matcha bubble waffle from here. Sadly I feel that the latte was lacking. The coffee flavor was great, but the notes of lavender are very faint and almost nonexistent. The staff present were amicable and friendly as well, but were in the back a lot. When I went to ask for some utensils, they were hard to get a hold of.
