Had the pleasure of attending the soft opening last Sunday. Food was excellent. Philly cheese steak was delicious. Meaty and filled the roll. Wings were huge. Pretzel is definitely a sharing size. Loved the fact you have options for different sides without additional cost. Potato skins hit their mark as well. Ruben was yummy. Staff was friendly and accommodating even with the newness of it being a soft opening. This may just become our go to when in Salem. #HeavyGapproved

Food was good but service left a lot to be desired. Came in over an hour before closing and waited over 10 minutes to be acknowledged with multiple employees passing us. Our server seemed in a hurry to rush us out. We hadn’t even taken a bite of our food and she wanted to bring us our check. We overheard her complaining to her coworkers about us asking for our sauce that was supposed to come with our order.

We have been here before to get beer but This is the first time we ate here. Pulled chicken was juicy and flavorful. Pickled Jalapeño was really good . The balsamic vinaigrette was thick but it was so good. The brisket was really good. The collard greens was very good and flavorful. Would highly recommend.

This was just what we needed after a long drive. It was just a 5 minute drive from our hotel but offered everything we could want and more. Great live music (Hatfield Music), the most friendly staff, and the food was delicious. We had the pretzel which we would highly recommend. And we both had burgers that hit the spot. There is a very large outdoor space but we were here in February so we didn’t get to experience that. But we’ve already told friends and family it is worth the stop off 81 and we will certainly be back.

We stopped by for appetizers after a visit to Dixie Caverns. From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff was so friendly. Loved the inside vibe. Had the wings and hush puppies, both were delicious. I am from out of state but can’t wait to go back. Looking forward to being able to sit outside. New establishment so continued good luck.

Was pleasantly surprised with the upgraded interior. The food was amazing. The southwest chicken soup is great. Also tried one of their root beer seltzer. Top notch all the way around. Will definitely put this place in my regular rotation it was really good to see Chad back there. The whole staff was very pleasant. The owner , Andrew made me feel very welcome. I look forward to coming back soon. Good job guys.

Good food, great beer choices, friendly and attentive service. I had the chicken Caesar salad with homemade dressing, chicken was grilled and delicious! The brown ale was so smooth, cold and delicious! Stage for live music was large, and the outside patio massive! I wish them much success! Visit this local place! Support local and live music!

Fantastic spot in Salem. Hanging Rock Tavern (previously Billy’s Barn) offers the best bbq and sides I have ever had, local music, craft beers brewed locally in Shawsville and a huge outdoor courtyard. They are dog friendly, gluten free friendly and even have a dedicated fryer for gluten free and a dedicated smoker for chicken for people with Alpha Gal. They have music every day and twice on Saturday with no cover. It’s family friendly and fun!

arrived and told it was a 30 min wait but got in less than 10. food was great and arrived super fast which i appreciate as i had a toddler with me. the waitress was great and brought me a pen and paper for her to color. got a chicken philly which was great. live music was going on as well.
