Had another wonderful time at the Hangar! Food was amazing. We chose 4 flavors and they certainly didn’t disappoint! The chicken was moist, well seasoned and serving was generous.
Beer was fabulous, food was awesome and service was super friendly and attentive – nothing else you can ask for! I highly recommend ALL the IPAs. Amherst Brewing is churning out world class beer!

Never will I need step inside this place again. Cool bar though, dark, somewhat seedy, giant bar-top, good menu, cary out beer, video games, strange locals. Service was fast and friendly. Bartender said they were known for their wings so I rolled with it. Wings were not good. I think they were frozen. Tasted like those Tyson ones that are flash frozen in the bag. Price reflected this, cheap. Too many sauces and rubs. Maybe not that bad, but they were in between Dominos and Pappa Johns level. Waffle fries and boneless chicken were good.
I might be persuaded to return on a UMASS game-day cause they had tons of beers. But doubt it. Parking is limited and I couldn’t get s wifi signal inside.

I love it here! My fave casual dinner spot, perfect for adventures with kiddos & friends and date nights alike. Google says it’s ale & pub fare served in a two story restaurant, but it has moved from a 2 story building in downtown Amherst, to a one story location on University drive. Two Amherst favorites: ABC (Amherst brewing company) and “Wings over Amherst” have come together to create The Hangar: the best synergy of beer, fun and amazing food (especially the wings)! I love the bar (great bartenders- shout out to Steve) and the pool tables/ arcade games are fun too. It’s a good date night place but it’s also fun to come with family/ kids for dinner. They have events like trivia night. I got the nachos last time, and it was seriously delicious with the pork. Try the toasted coconut, barley wine, The Jess, Orange creamsicle and the Chelsea beers! Yum 10/10!

Hangar Pub and Grill is a Sports Bar & Restaurant located near the UMass Amherst campus.
I’ve never stepped inside the restaurant as I’ve only ordered take-out, so I can’t really speak on the atmosphere or the service.
As for take-out, I typically use the standard food delivery apps. Something weird I encountered was that even though the restaurant is open and serving people, the food delivery is down and has wildly inconsistent hours. Seems odd, but doesn’t really bother me.
The food is good. For the price it may be a bit overpriced, but it’s understandable. I typically get the garlic parm, which has a nice dusting and great taste that is hard to replicate. The chicken can tend to be overfried a bit, but overall is still pretty good.
Overall, a decent spot to get wings near the campus.

Hi, I love the flavors and service, but South Hadly Hanger per cooks there wings then refryes them causing bad, un- fresh flavor. I usually do not complain but, Greenfield BLOWS AWAY South Hadley. Please wake up and make fresh wings. Veteran of Foreign Wars. We just want fresh food and Flavor, not greasy untasteful food.

We went in for a early dinner over the weekend and it was superb! Place isn’t much to look at but the service is relaxed, friendly and very good. Beer listing and menu is huge and the food fantastic!
The chicken wings were great and the portions huge. I got the DC3 wings with the pulled pork which was enough to feed a couple of people. The pretzels are the size of a kids head and the waffle fries amazing.

Had a blast for my birthday party. They got us a table fro the group. Had a birthday cake but forgoet a lighter – the staff was very friendly and provided a lighter for the birthday candles!
