Absolutely stunning burger. Ordered the Handshakes burger. Fries were cooked just right, slaw had the perfect texture and taste, chili was phenomenal, onion rings were amazing. I’ll will 100% be back for more. What an absolute gem of a place

Really had an awful experience here. Got here at 6, was told 20 min wait, totally fine. 45 minutes go by, we were still waiting. Finally about an hour after waiting, we were finally sat. The waiter didn’t come over for at least 10 to 15 minutes. I get it it’s busy but they definitely should’ve had another waiter. There were only two there he took our entire order from appetizers to dinner 30 more minutes go by we never got our drinks so he finally asked, and he said there were no more cups, they had to clean the cups. Weird but ok. Drinks finally came We had ordered wings and they never came. We ordered the steak special and it was supposed to come with salads before the entrées came. We never got the salads! Our steaks finally arrived, and they were god awful. They smelled so sour And were tough. We told our waiter who then asked the chef. The chef said they were aged steaks that’s why they smelled. I work in the restaurant business and no steak should smell sour!!! It was definitely old steak Absolutely Disgusting. Finally, they had offered to make rib eyesteaks. That was very nice but at this point it was 830 and we just wanted to go home. We had two babies with us. It was a really disappointing experience from start to finish. Sad to say I will never be back here. It was not the waiters fault as they were extremely busy and severely understaffed. I was hoping that the owner or a manager would have at least come out and apologize, but that definitely did not happen.

Usually go there on Thursdays for ribs and wings. I haven’t been disappointed yet!
The steaks are pretty good too. Flavor and food quality is outstanding, service is fast and friendly.
Overall environment is rustic, clean and comfortable.
The bar upstairs is nice although noisy at times. There is ample parking and WiFi is available.

I’ve been to this place many times over the span of 5-6 years. I’m really beginning to lose the desire to come back. The food is decent but the service from the waiters is consistently bad. As someone who’s worked as a waiter and bartender, the waiters are simply not good at what they are doing. I’ve noticed a couple who have worked there a while and have not gotten better, very inefficient with time. An example of this is when we asked for our check to the waiter, instead of getting our check, he walks away and starts cleaning a table. Experienced and more skillful waiters/waitresses would have given us our check right away, then cleaned the table while we figured out how we were paying our check. There are quite literally only two waiters/waitresses that are good at what they are doing there, so it isn’t everybody. Another example of the bad service was last week. A waiter who I will not name was having a full blown conversation with a table, while we were waiting to have our drinks ordered. Another waiter saw and said “hey (waiters name), have you taken them?” And he lied and said yes. It wasn’t busy at all at the time, I’m okay with him talking with the table as long as he takes time to take care of us. We were the only two tables in the restaurant at the time. One minor thing, the plates that are used need changing. I could not cut through my steak without the plate spinning on me.

Best Chicken wings in town. Try the house sauce. It is a tangy pineapple based sauce with moderate heat and it is amazing. Thursday night is all you can eat Ribs and wings. Bring back Kareoke please on Saturdays :-).
Bar aside, this is also a great place to take a family for an awesome American dinner and not have to go to a Route 9 chain. It also tends to be the place that Seniors and families with small children go to for an early dinner. I went at 3pm for my birthday dinner recently and when we walked in the owner was cleaning the light fixtures and ketchup tops. He was our waiter and we received excellent service. Over the years I am starting to feel like I know him. He has the perfect temperament for the restaurant and bar business. You always feel important and recognized and well fed!
My personal favorite dish is the wings platter but I have tried many platters over the years and always leave happy. I can also recommend the porky Mac, the balboa, loaded potato skins and the ribs.
If you are planning a big event such as a superbowl party this is the place that will come through with your wings and apps fast and never charges market rates on Chicken. Before inflation the wings platter was 16$. Now it is 17.90. It is great to know you can get the best wings around locally, just down the street.

The food is usually very good here, which is why this was especially disappointing. The order took over an hour, and when I opened it, the burger was raw in the center

The waiter’s service is great, deliver everything we need right away. The price for food is very reasonable. A bit disappointed of the NY strip that we ordered. Ordered 2 sets of NY strip, both end up over cooked. Everything else taste good in this price range.

Sadly they don’t do the all you can eat ribs and wings anymore but now they have them priced per each on Thursdays. 80 cent wings and 2.50 ish ribs. This was ok because I forgot that all the food here is great. I highly recommend the wings with the house sauce. It does get busy and seems to be understaffed which usually means slower than expected service.
