Handles Ice Cream is truly out of this world! As a European, I have high standards when it comes to desserts—and from the very first indulgent bite, I could taste the difference. The quality of ingredients is unmistakable: real fruit, real milk, and none of the artificial aftertaste you often find elsewhere. It felt genuinely wholesome and far healthier than any other ice cream I’ve tried in the U.S. A delightful surprise that absolutely won my heart (and tastebuds)!

The flavor of the ice cream was tasty, but it was basically vanilla with a bit of chocolate and not at all what I ordered. The serving size was huge. However, I ordered the Buckeye which I had for the first time in Columbus, Ohio. In Columbus, it was outstanding. There were so many Buckeye candy that I had to pass it on to my son to help me finish. I LOVED it! I excitedly ordered the exact same thing today. There was only one Buckeye in my cone. It was disappointing, but I will go back and order something different. I’ll just save ordering the Buckeye for the next time I’m in Ohio.

Brand new just opened! The ice cream is amazing and incredible so let’s get that out of the way! Now the only issues that I had was that it actually wasn’t that busy when we went and they had about 25 people working however it still took almost 10min for our 2 ice creams. The other major issue was then getting the order to the customer, I was offered 3 different orders before I got the right one because they had no idea who ordered what because there is no number system or anything like that so they just ask everyone if they ordered the strawberry cone till someone says yes. I still have it 4 stars because I know there will be new store issues that will get worked out but the ice cream was delicious and people were friendly.

To say the portions are generous is an understatement. There are so many flavor choices. We ordered medium cones and it was piled high. Another time we ordered samplers. Price is so cheap for what you get. Coffee ice cream with chocolate chunks is my favorite so far, but all the flavors have been delicious.

They just catered our wedding and I cannot say enough how cool and great everything was! We chose 3 amazing flavors and were somehow even better than in shop! They brought it in a really cool ice cream cart and even set up and served everyone! Thank you for making our day even better! Handels is the best!

The ice cream is delicious. The menu is large, and they have a good variety of flavors, too.
The inside of this location is small, line goes out the door on the weekend. There is an outdoor patio, which is nice. The line moves fast, but it does take a little bit of a wait for your order – nothing major. It can be hard to hear your order called when it’s busy inside. Otherwise, it’s a great place to bring the fam for a treat!

We have always had such an amazing Scot here and today was no different! We went around 2 pm and even though there was a line every one was happy! I wanted to try a flavor and no one minded and they happily gave me the sample! The staff was very kind, polite and more than willing to help with any and all our questions. We even got checked on after we received our ice cream and were sitting on the patio enjoying it under the misters! I rarely go out for ice cream but am so glad we did! Got to enjoy a great place and great atmosphere with some lovely ladies!

Ice cream is the best and I’m beyond excited to have a queen creek location. Absolutely adore their flavors. Black raspberry chunk is my favorite!!
I agree with the other reviews that their system for handing out the ice cream could be improved. I don’t love that I kept getting asked over and over if I ordered X. I like that they have you order and then stand to the side, but maybe give people numbers and have even numbers stand on one side and odd numbers on the other?
It just was confusing for both the customers and employees. What if people order the same thing? Easy conflict to avoid.

The boys working today were awkward and rude. Not polite and offended that we interrupted their jokes when we came in. They kept joking and laughing and ignoring us. Would not make eye contact whispering and rudely handed us our items like we were inconveniencing them. The girls are polite and welcoming. Nothing against genders..the guys working just don’t do customer service well at all. I felt awkward and will not be returning.
