Needless to say, we have been waiting for this location to be open because we used to visit the location in Scottsdale. However, when we moved to the side of town, Scottsdale was a little bit of a hike. We visited on opening night and while yes, it was very busy. The team was very efficient friendly, and the ice cream was as good as ever! We will definitely make our ice cream runs to Handels! In our opinion, this is the only real ice cream shop in this area that is worth visiting and I’m glad that this location is just as good as the other locations we’ve visited. If you have not yet visited Handels you are 100% in for a treat and if you have visited another location, you can rest assured that visiting this spot will be similar to the other locations! If you happen to show up when they are very busy, don’t let the long line scare you away. They make sure the line keeps moving. Highly recommend! I didn’t get pictures of our other ice cream however, all four of them as well as the pint that we got were top-notch.

The portion sizes are absolutely bonkers and I am not complaining. I got the small which was 2 1/2 scoops. The flavor choices were super unique and the ice cream was so creamy and delicious. I got the monkey business which was banana ice cream with brownie chunks and a caramel swirl. Definitely better than any large chain restaurant I’ve been to.

Every flavor our family of 7 tried was great! The pineapple upsidedown cake was probably my favorite.

Love Handel’s ice cream!! We’ve been going to a different location and was so thrilled to one opening up closer to us. Friendly staff and simply the best! It’s an Ohio creamery and just thrilled they’re now in Arizona!

Now this is the place to bring everyone too!! Love the vibes and atmosphere with the people they hired they make you welcomed and feel like family!! Was our 1st time and we’ve come back serval times now!! Once you come here.. you won’t go back to cold stones!! You can taste the real difference in the ice cream, and if you have a good allergy.. no problem they make sure to make your allergies not a concern. They have dairy free, coconut free, nut free ice cream and etc.

Tried the new Handel’s and the ice cream was absolutely delicious.
The staff? For a place that’s been open less than three full days I can’t get over how rude the staff was to customers who were merely excited to get some yummy ice cream. Big yikes.

Love Handle’s ice cream but they are so inconsistent with their portions! While waiting over 25 minutes in line, so many people left. Ouch… Only two out of three employees were helping customers. One was clearly doing the online orders. Line was out the door halfway down the parking lot. Once we got in the door you can see 4 other employees in the back just watching the line. Perhaps all on a break?? Definitely more training is needed or an adult to supervise.
