They have a good variety of flavors. I got a small waffle bowl with chocolate chips cookie dough with caramel and whipped cream. The scoops look small but I could hardly finish it. We also got the sampler with 4 flavors. Very pleased with portions and flavors.

I got an Oreo (cookies n cream) ice cream. The Ice cream is delicious and creamy. I love how the waffle cones is not overly sweet but it’s tasty enough to still eat it itself.
Most other ice cream shops make their waffle cones too sweet for me to eat but Handel’s make theirs just right. I think I found my favorite ice cream spot

It was a hot day. Ice cream on my mind. Not just any old ice cream but homemade ice cream. I was not disappointed. The service was excellent with a smile. I ordered the 4 scoop sampler first which was peach, lemon bar, banana creme pie,and vanilla. The ice cream was so good. I had to order the 4 pints with those flavors. My daughter ordered pink champagne, cotton candy, peach, and strawberry cheese cake. She like the pink champagne so I did get her one of the pints. Thanks for all you do.

My wife and I have been coming to Handel’s every week since they opened. Tonight, Tuesday, April 8th around 6 PM, we asked for 2 sugar cones to go with our 4 to go ice creams. They informed us they would need to charge us (which has never happened before). So we asked for one of the ice creams to be changed to a cone. The girls behind the counter changed two to cones. When we informed them that we only wanted one in a cone, they threw away the other cone and gave us the ice cream pictured. So, not only did they not want to accommodate us, they also wasted the product, and gave us half of an ice cream that was mostly melted. It’s worth noting that all 3 girls behind the counter “in agreement” were white and we are not. I suspect if we initially asked for the ice cream on a cone and a dish or lid to go, it’s likely they would not have tried to charge us for this. Very disappointing for an establishment we used to look forward to visiting every week.

Premium Ice cream indeed! Salted Caramel truffle is my absolute favorite. Blueberry cobbler is first runner up. The entire experience is a vibe. Love walking up to the window placing my order and being greeted by friendly, smiling faces. They will even explain the Nutrition facts for those of us who count our calories.

Nervous trying some of the flavors , but The flavors taste exactly like the descriptions of each product (I had Carrot Cake, Blueberry Cobbler, Butter Pecan and Praline Pecan). I Will be returning. Only downside to it for me personally the ice cream melted really fast being that it was a little on the soft side. I wouldn’t have been able to Make it home to eat it, so I ate it in the parking lot in my car! Other than that 9/10!

I initially tried Handles ice cream at my nephew’s Ben Lippen football game. Handles was one of the vendors there. We loved the ice cream! Since then we’ve visited this Forest Dr. Location, it’s not too far from where we live in the NE area. The Handles experience is a nice family outing.

Handle’s is hands down the best ice cream spot in Columbia. I have been here several times and every new flavor I get is better than the last. It is always so enjoyable. Whatever they are doing they are doing it right. I would highly recommend giving it a try, they will not disappoint.

I am from Ohio and Handles started in my town. The quality of the ice cream is the same as in Ohio, creamy and rich. This is not DQ ice milk hence the price is a little more but not any higher than any of the other ice cream shops. I did think the single scoop sugar cone I got was on the small side. Back home they give you much more. Very clean, good customer service and there is some outside seating. There are many more flavors than listed on the website.

I had the best time and service today. I’m not usually an ice cream guy but these folks know how to make me wanting more! Definitely a must if you are looking to get your sweet tooth fix!
