Bumped into this place randomly while we were camping and so called “roughing it” haha this place is a true gem including the guy who runs it!! It’s not really on a whole lot of social media so I’m happy to give it the recognition it deserves here . I love that also because it makes the place word of mouth
Amazing BBQ , everything made w love right there on the premises & beyond friendly service. He ran out of Brisket but gave us some from his personal stash. Pulled pork was amazing too!! What a guy! Beautiful property w classic rock playing outdoor speakers from his house. We enjoyed our meal on picnic tables right there on the property. Just WOW on so many levels. ♥️ Thank you Hancock Oasis BBQ We will return .

This place is awesome! The barbecue is flavorful – I especially love the brisket, but my husband argues that the pulled pork is even better – and the sides are delicious! Be sure to try the collard greens! What a fun spot to get great food!

I ran into this place just over a year ago now on my bicycle. I love exploring VT on two wheels so while I was not especially hungry, I wanted to at least check it out. I ended up spending 1.5hrs off the bike chatting with the owner of the place, discussing all sorts of things and sharing a meal. My lack of cash money did not prevent him from from being extremely generous and letting me sample all of his delicious home-made BBQ. I still owe him! A true Vermont establishment. He does it for the good in it, not for the profit. Hoping to make it back there this weekend to repay his kindness. Check it out.

Love this place and the guy who runs it. It’s his place and he’s going to run it the way he wants! Hells yes brother. Had the $20 special and ate every last bite. He let my girlfriend and I sample his sides, which were all awesome. Love this guy, love this bbq shack, and will be back this weekend
