The jjajangmyun here is better than a few places in NJ! My favorite though is the shrimp kanpoongi! It’s half the price and double the flavor with the same amount of shrimp compared to most restaurants. Went twice this week to order it. YUM!! The shrimp fried rice is on point too. You can’t beat the price over here.

The jjajang myeun was indeed better than most restaurants in NJ.

The tansooyuk was okay. I didn’t think it was a small pjiggle. My son liked it a lot. Sauce was bit watery, but it wasn’t overly sweet.

Wife got the soondobu (soft tofu soup), and we aren’t sure if it was an accident but someone dumped a yon of sesame oil in it, so it had a thick layer of sesame oil. Even though we are Koreans it was a bit too much sesame oil.

A few days later I went back and then I purchased kimchi jigae (kimchi stew), from the prepared section. It seemed okay, but someone added a ton of butter in the stew, and it had a very strong taste of butter, which isn’t normal for kimchi jiggae.

Also, in regards to someone who posted that they got raw cabbage with pepper sauce instead of kimchi. That is a thing. It’s called, “gut-juh-lee”, which is pieces of brined inner heart of cabbage mixed with kimchi marinade. It is an actual dish in Korea and technically, it is only available when the store makes kimchi, so it is proof that they make their own kimchi, so it IS an acceptable thing in real Korean culture.

Glad this place opened up again. It’s a nice place to just pick up Korean food. Their shrimp fried rice is delicious!

Food is always good here. I had a bibimbap and it was great! One thing I didn’t like is they gave raw cabbage with red peper sauce instead of real kimchee. That’s not acceptable!

The tangsooyuk is way overpriced for the amount you get. It also tasted like it was cooked days ago. Not good at all.
