One of very few Korean restaurants in Lake Forest. This review is for takeout only, the bossam pork takeout box was put together so nicely. The rose tteokboki was delicious and not spicy. The spicy beef soup was just ok.

I’ve been wanting more healthy food in lake forest and this definitely hit the spot. The salmon bento lunch special was light, crunchy, and perfect portion. I would say I wish the fried stuff was more hot. I think they pre fry it and throw it in. But if they flash fry it for each order would be better. Definitely gonna come back and try different dishes! Glad there’s an authentic Korean spot here in lf!

Great place to get good Korean food. There is a lunch special which includes rice, soup, salad and side dishes. The environment was relaxing, food delicious and service was great. I have to say that the service here was rare in a good way, I don’t remember when was the last time I had someone come to check on my table 4 or 5 times, but it happened on our recent visit on a weekday around 12.
When I simply turned around, our server ran over to ask if we wanted something. She would refill our side dishes anytime and that is something we’ve had to sometimes beg for at other nearby Korean food places.
Love the variety in the combination boxes. While it is on the pricier side, you’re still getting good value considering how much you get. Only issue we had was the beef short rib while it had many pieces, several of the pieces were basically all fat, but most of it was good meat.
Plenty of parking, not too busy, and hoping to make it back here soon.

Best Korean food in South OC, in a nice clean restaurant with family vibes. We come here for family meals every couple of months, and get takeout for office lunch as well. For under $20 you can get this incredible bento for lunch, which can’t be beat on price or quality when a sandwich nearby is almost $20.

This is my new favorite Korean spot in Lake forest. The owner is very kind and the food is exceptionally fresh and tasty. I ordered the bibimbap with grilled pork and it was certainly the right decision. I will definitely be back and I will be recommending this to my friends as well. I did not grow up in Korea but I imagine this is what home-cooked Korean food tastes like.

I was here on 1/25 between lunch and dinner. A few days after they opened. The restaurant was very clean. The service was excellent, very punctual, friendly, and accurate. They even gave us complimentary korean popcorn chicken. It was so amazing and fresh! Sweet and a little spicy. All the Korean sides were good, the kim chi had a little spice and a good crunch to it. I ordered the bulgogi (beef) and It was served sizzling! It was flavorful, fresh, and sweet. My daughter ordered the yuk gae jang and she loved it. This is her favorite korean dish. We will definitely be back soon.

Great Korean food! There was a bit of a wait for food, but everyone working there was so kind. The spicy rice cakes were delicious! The salmon was great and served with a bunch of onions on a hot plate. My favorite was the vegetable kimbap. It tasted so fresh and good and I want to go back for it. The kimchi stew was very spicy but their kimchi is fresh and not fishy. I also loved the side dishes, the miso soup was amazing. Will definitely go back.

My total for fried rice, Bibim Naengmyeon and possum came out to around 47$ and I thought that was a little expensive, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
